I'm hoping Andrea will redeem herself and become sort of a double agent for the group and that maybe since she knows Woodbury now and as the people turn to her now while the Govenor is off dropping zombie bombs that she will suceed in taking down the Govenor with their help and that maybe they can reclaim the town for themselves.
I'm just worried the woman who popped out of the van wasn't the black chick that was Tyreese's wife (Was Sandra her name?) I sincerly hope that Tyreese's group didn't end up in Woodbury and join team evil since they know that one part of the prison has collapsed and that they don't have much ammo or man power. Cuz that would really suck for out group if they did...
On the bright side even though Merle is kind of a douche he was the Govenor's right hand man so he should know exactly what crazy things the Govenor has hidden in Woodbury, and he also knows how the Govenor thinks. It should be easier for them to anticipate his movements with Merle knowing all the behind the scenes work that he has going on. That is if Rick, Glen, or Mishonne don't kill Merle first...

Haha I think Merle is going to soften up a bit now tbat he is away from the governor. I honestly think Merle stayed his right hand man so long that because he was scared of the governor...since he knows all the crazy things about him. If he was truly loyal to the governor he would not have gotten out of there with Daryl as quickly as he did...but did he have to kick and punch Daryl that much in the process? lol
How does everyone feel about Glenn kinda becoming a new leader sort of? I think his head is in the wrong place after everything that happened to him. I feel like he is in the "KILL KILL KILL" mode when he needs to think about others as well.
Also, how does everyone feel about his scene with Maggie last episode? I'm mixed on it

I think Maggie was right to be mad at Glenn. He was making the situation all about him when she was the one who was almost raped and who had to hear him being tortured. She has the most right to be the angriest, but she is keeping her cool and dealing with the situation and taking in what's best for the group rather than just focusing on revenge like him. She is trying her best to cope with a traumatic situation and to look at the bigger picture unlike Glenn.
I think with Daryl back he will take on the leader position now that Rick has lost his mind. So I think Glenn will go back to follower position and hopefully he will listen to Daryl's reason. Because knowing Daryl if Glenn wants to go off on a suicide mission he will probably pick his skinny butt up and lock him in a jail cell until he calms down. I actually wouldn't mind seeing that...

See...I think that Maggie hitting Glenn was unnecessary. She didn't really open up to him and tell him how she was feeling...so how was he supposed to know? He's probably never had a situation like this before...and I know if that happened to me it would be impossible for my boyfriend to not be thinking about revenge...but I know he wouldn't go around actually plotting to hurt the person.
Now on the other hand...Glenn was making it a little bit about him and it felt like he was like..."I know you had a traumatic experience...but i'm the oen who has to think about what he did to you and i'm hurt about it and i'm upset." He really hasn't focused on HER feelings at all...but once again...it was never brought up to him and she avoids any conversation about it.
I think they're both wrong

i think they are both overreacting and dragging it out lol...I mean i know Merle and those people are jerks but I feel like it could have been way worse. Maybe im being mean lol

Oh it definitely could have been much worse. I just think at this point they need to get passed that...there are far more serious things to worry about now like the zombie bomb that was dropped in their camp. Or maybe they should be looking after Judith...since it was apparent no one looked after her during the invasion. Everyone was outside. lol

While I agree they need to put aside their own personal traumas and focus on the Govenor invading the prison I do kind of understand why they would be so emotional even if it could have been worse. I mean you gotta take into account everything they've all been through in the past two years. Having to watch civilization and mankind die out right before your very eyes, constantly having to worry about being attacked by not only Walkers, but other survivers as well, making new friends and family only to lose them in the most horrible of ways, not to mention the fact that they have to keep moving from place to place because every "home" they make gets destroyed somehow, having to worry about where your next meal is coming from EVERY single day, and now having your leader lose his damn mind at the exact same time you get kidnapped and (tortured/molested)... Oh and lets not forget Daryl leaving them for that little bit (that alone would make me an emotional wreck for weeks)I mean I think I would over react a bit too if that had become my life.
And I so didn't even realize it but Amy is right. NOBODY was watching the baby!! The parenting fails in this show know no bounds. I mean it was bad enough when everybody yelled at Carl to get inside the house and then never made sure he actually stayed in there, and then letting Sophia become a Walker, but now leaving a defenseless baby in a box in a prison while you have an old fashioned western shoot out? Seriously?? Somebody needs to call CPS on these people...

I agree!! The parenting on this show is ridiculous!!!
Was anyone else a little disappointed with last night's episode? I waited for the big climax that usually comes during the show and all of a sudden the credits were rolling. I was like...oh well...maybe next week is going to be EXTRA explosive. Haha

I liked last night's episode for four reasons. The first being that Hershel finally told Rick to get his $*** together. Secondly being that Rick finally was able to hold his own daughter. I mean he only held her once and had a nervous breakdown but yesterday's episode showed him actually holding her like a father is supposed to. Thirdly Andrea went back to the prison and even though she went back to Woodbury the final scene where she was contemplating murdering him spoke volumes about how much she truly trusts him. I think this episode set it up for what's going to happen with her and the govenor in the future. I believe it will more than likely be Andrea who kills him in the end. She is already seeing what he is capable of (Hello asthmatic teenage army!) and I don't think she is going to sit back and let him wage a war against her old friends. Especially now that she's seen Carl and the baby and knows they are still alive. And lastly the reason I liked last night's episode despite any major action sequences was because Carol & Daryl had a much needed moment together.
And honestly I just KNEW Tyreese's group was going to end up in Woodbury...I just hope that after being in the prison and being helped by Carl and seeing they had a child and aren't totally bad people they won't fall under the spell of the govenor. Last night Tyreese's wife (Sandra? Can never remember her name) did not look too pleased when Tyreese said they'd join the fight. I'm hoping her maternal senses will kick in and she will not wage war on stragglers who have two children, took them in when they were surrounded by Walkers, and let them give a proper burial to that one guy's wife. I'm hoping they team up with Andrea and work together to take the Govenor down.

how did I not know this thread existed!? I LOVE TWD. My boyfriend pretty much forced me to watch it too on Netflix probably just after the first season ended. Needless to say, we watched the entire first season in one night!! I've been hooked ever since This week's episode was CRAZY IMO ... the whole Andrea comes to the prison thing was just awkward .... I do have to agree that it was smart of Hershel to finally give Rick a swift kick in the ass ... and I think hearing it from Carl also put things a little more in perspective for him, I mean he's been in Crazy Town for some time now LOLm... but what I'm still wondering is ... Why in the hell is Maggie so mad at Glenn for?! Did I miss something here?
