I think Holiday Homebrew may do it for me. I do like Cinnamon & Clove Buds from the mall. I like to place a cinnamon stick, a nutmeg and some clove buds in water and just boil for the scent. Very traditional I know. Unfortunately I don't think my Holiday Homebrew Scent Shot is fully cured. It is nice but not great, so I may not be able to include a Halo Red glitter candle in my best Holiday scent in this order.
Any other traditionalists out there with favorites for the Holidays???

I only just ordered Christmas lane about a week ago but it is by far my favorite out of sugared spruce, Charlie brown Christmas, Christmas eve, and Christmas kitchen. Christmas kitchen is a pretty close second, though.

My favorite Christmas scents don't necessarily have spice to them though I am a big fan of spicy scents. My favorites for Christmas so far are Sweet Snow, Cold December Night, Peppermint Bark, Pumpkin Eggnog (my favorite pumpkin scent), Strawberry Candy Cane and Blueberry Candy Cane. Granted I have not tried many of the spicey Christmas scents but I am looking to try those this year. Last year was my first Christmas with CBV and as you could probably tell from the scents I just listed I was on a peppermint kick lol.

Thanks, Ladies, I hadn't paid any attention yet to Charlie Brown Christmas or Blueberry Candy Cane!
I was looking forward to a late summer sale and had been melting scent shot quarters to help me make up my wish list. I splurged. i went ahead with the Halo Red Glitter Love, Victoria Candle in Holiday Homebrew. I hope to choose another scent for a complimentary Halo Green candle after more scent shots cure.

Sugared Spruce and Cold December Night I have meted and love. Peppermint Bark smells great too. I don't like chocolate and mint candy but this scent does remind me of Christmas sweets. Cold, Christmas Memories is very promising.

I will warn you thought that with Blueberry Candy Cane (and Strawberry Candy Cane) that the peppermint is a little bit stronger than the blueberry. You still get the fruity notes in there but the cool mint is the dominant fragrance.

Since I'm not a big fan of pine or anything like that, my two favorite Christmas scents are a little different. I do enjoy Peppermint Bark & a CAS by Jandre called Mrs Claus' Nighty (which is a mix of Pink Bubblegum Crush & Sweet Snow).

I forgot about that CAS Brittany! So glad that I have both of those that I can mix around Christmas time. Thanks for reminding me!
By the way has anyone tried Deb's Create A Scent Eskimo Kisses? I personally hated Vanilla Bean Noel *Gasp, I know!* but I love minty scents and back in the day I know EK was getting huge amounts of love so I'm wondering if the spearmint tones down the sweet perfumeyness of VBN.

I'm usually not as into the spicy Christmas scents as much. I usually prefer ones with mint and stuff like that. My absolute favorite is, of course, Cold December Night. It is just absolutely perfect to me I also love Sugared Spruce and Sweet Snow by themselves, for one with some spice I do like Warm Christmas Splendor. Christmas Lane is also a good one. I haven't tried Mrs. Claus' Nighty but I did do Pink Snowflakes which is Pink Sugar and Sweet Snow and that is lovely too, if you like PS

I love both of those scents on their own. Of course you did a fabulous job with Cold December Night and I need a lot more of it for winter.

I love Piney Forest (much more realistic line scent than Christmas Tree) and Sugared Spruce. Holiday Homebrew is amazing isn't it??

I tried Eskimo Kisses before I got my scent shot of Vanilla Bean Noel (not melted yet). I personally really liked Eskimo Kisses, it reminds me of spearmint gum. I will honestly tell you now that I have VBN I can pick it out of Eskimo Kisses. I have also melted Sweet Snow. It is a different mint, peppermint instead of spearmint but I detect no trace of VBN and can only assume that it is not the vanilla used in Sweet Snow. Everyone in my house liked Sweet Snow as much as Eskimo Kisses. Mint scents seem to be pretty well loved over here. Have you tried Peppermint Bark? It is a sweet peppermint, creamier to me than the other two scents. Eskimo Kisses I reordered instead of ordering Peppermint Bark but I do like both. I have a feeling that if you truly hate VBN you will pick up too much of it Eskimo Kisses. Don't go by my opinion alone of course. Sometimes I order scents even with the possibility I wont like them. I feel like I need to put one or two wild cards in every order.

Thanks Lisa for letting me know. I was kind of on the fence about Eskimo Kisses. I have my Christmas order mostly plotted out, but I had added Eskimo Kisses as a last minute thing. I think I will go ahead and pass. Like you I always try to go out of my comfort zone with at least one scent in my order and I already have Hollyberry in that order which I'm not sure I will like. BTW: I love Peppermint Bark. It was the first spankee canlde I ever smelt and as soon as I smelt it I went home immediately and oredered the CBV version. I'm so sneaky

You're welcome Cayla I added Pink Sands and Lemon Lavender to my list because of a recent trip to spankee. I sniffed every single scent they had that day but didn't take notes. Spankee has really pretty jars and accessories (especially Halloween). Maybe if or when they go on clearance I'l pick some sleeves up but I'm cheap. I love CBV because I feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck.
