Here is last month's round up. I thought it would be fun for all of us to do again.
1. Funniest thing that happened to you in November? 2. Which books have you been reading? 3. Movies you watched in November? 4. Something that made you proud of yourself? 5. Which games did you play? 6. Did you travel anywhere? 7. What new food have you tried? 8. Which songs have you been listening to the most? 9. Favorite products, accessories, clothes, etc? 10. What did you learn? 11. Favorite CBV products for the month? 1. Something funny that happened to me was probably when my mom and I weren't going to do anything special for Thanksgiving but have a small meal and my aunt and uncle were going to do the same thing then we both had the idea to call the other one at the same time so we all ended up having dinner together. Oh and I went to a bacon themed party lol. 2. Just The Bible last month. I didn't read much other than scripture. I haven't ever actually sat down to read all of The Bible before so I want to actually finish reading it instead of just verses here or there. 3. I watched Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Toy Story, then end of Toy Story 3, parts of Ice Age, Uncle Buck, and Christmas With The Kranks. 4. Last month I tried to be more loving, more kind, and more patient. I believe I woke my conscious up from it's slothful ways and started to think more of others than of myself at least a little bit more than before. I gave blood for the first time ever and was really nervous but was proud of myself afterwards. We also had the first tornado to touch down in my town since I was born and I am scared of tornadoes but for the first time even though I was nervous I wasn't as afraid as I used to be. I just let it be and said if God wants me he'll take me and so I managed to keep my cool for the most part though I was still glued to my dad's police radio to hear where it was going lol. 5. I played Christmas and Mermaid Mahjong lol. Oh and I also busted out my friend's old school Nintendo 64 and we played Diddy Kong Racing which used to be a fav when I was younger. Turns out I'm still pretty good at it too. 6. No not really. I'm boring as usual lol. 7. I tried a Hot Toddy for the first time. Didn't really care for the whiskey in it and my mom didn't even put in that much. I also tried pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious which was surprising to me because I don't even really like pumpkin. (eating it at least, I love the smell of it) I tried this avocado dip my friend's brother had made. I didn't have the heart to tell him I don't like avocados because he seemed happy about it and he gave me this cracker with a huge mound of the dip on it and he watched as I ate it so I had to pretend it was good. I'm sure it was good for those who like avocados but it just wasn't for me lol. Oh and I also tried a tiny piece of a bacon cookie but it was the edge and I didn't even get any bacon in it so it tasted just like a plain homemade cookie so not sure that counts lol. 8. Songs I've been listening to the most probably were Bad Day by Side Effects (Love it! still listening to it!), Please Don't Say You Love Me by Gabrielle Aplin, and I absolutely adore Matthew Schuler's version of Hallelujah. I heard it on the voice and then looked up the studio version on youtube and have been replaying it ever since. Oh and also love Bloc Party's song Signs. It is so pretty yet kind of melancholy but the wind chimes are so refreshing. 9. I really miss my Burts Bees. I keep forgetting to take my chapstick out of my jeans and then I wash them and there goes the entire tube. I've gone through two this month I think and now I have to wait until we go to the store next to get a new one. Made me appreciate it all the more. Oh and I got a pair of Hello Kitty leggings just to wear around the house. They are my first pair of leggings and I am in love! Don't think I will ever wear them out but they are perfect for the cold nights and lounging around. 10. I learned a lot this month about friends and family and how important they are. The whole Thanksgiving dinner with my family made me realize how estranged we had become and how nice it was to be together. It wasn't that we had anything against each other we just both got busy in our lives and somehow grew apart even though we live less than 10 minutes away. So our family has all agreed we need to get together more often from now on and I'm excited about that. As for friends I realized as well how many I had lost touch with and so tried to reach out and reconnect a little on facebook. It felt good to talk to some of them again. Also you guys as my friends I truly do see you guys as such. The drama that happened only made me realize how much I love you guys and how supportive you are. Really all your messages of support to me meant so much. Thank you guys for being so awesome and for being people to whom I can share just about anything with without judgement and to whom you guys will always give me honest advice. I <3 you all! 11. Hard to choose, but I really liked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal and Hot Toddy. It really made the place smell and feel all nice and cozy in these cold months.

I haven't participated with this in previous months but I thought I would this month (:
1. Funniest thing that happened to you in November? Well it was my birthday month and my boyfriend really wanted to get a nice gift but a couple days before when he came to visit me (he lives an hour away so he only comes a couple times a week) he left his wallet at my house. I just thought it was really funny! Lol
2. Which books have you been reading? This month I've been "reading" two books (not including textbooks). One book is called "Meet Me at the Cupcake Shop" and the other I've been listening to on my Audible app on my phone! Super helpful when I'm driving around and such since I hate radio music (: The book I'm listening to is "Love in the Time of Cholera". I do have a couple books I purchased a week ago but I'm saving it for my New York trip in December/January!
3. Movies you watched in November? I usually don't watch movies but here are some I watched this month: As Good As It Gets (for a homework assignment) Catching Fire (This movie was so good!) The Little Mermaid (1, 2 & 3) Alice in Wonderland Ratatouille Sleeping Beauty
As you can see, I had a Disney run this month lol
4. Something that made you proud of yourself? Totally lame but I got an A on my paper! I never get A's on my paper because writing is my weakest subject!
5. Which games did you play? My sister and I played Monopoly on Thanksgiving night since it was just the two of us! We went to target and they had a cool electronic banking monopoly! I love it!! We also played a bunch of Wii games (:
6. Did you travel anywhere? No where this month!
7. What new food have you tried? I tried quinoa for the first time! It was really weird at first but now it doesn't bother me so much!
8. Which songs have you been listening to the most? Well as of Black Friday I've been listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album! Other than that, I'm not a huge listener of music (especially things on the radio today)
9. Favorite products, accessories, clothes, etc? Favorite product: My shampoo and conditioner bar from another company. I honestly hope Melissa creates shampoo/conditioner bars! The ones I buy at the store make my hair so oily or so frizzy! I couldn't stand it anymore Accessory: Does my wick trimmer count? Hahaha. I always used scissors to cut my wicks but it was getting super annoying. I purchased the trimmer from CBV and it makes a huge difference! Clothes: I have this pea coat that has kept me very warm this past month! Etc: I've been loving the audible app! I recommend getting it if you can!
10. What did you learn? I've learned that I can no longer stay up past 1am. If I go to sleep and wake up randomly at 2am I can stay up but I really struggle to stay awake past 1am. Hahah I don't know if that made any sense at all!
11. Favorite CBV products for the month? Wick trimmer! I've been loving the lotions! This time of year, my skin gets super dry and icky. Melissa's lotions have saved my skin every day so far! I actually finished my first bottle the other week!

It's crazy cause I use the EOS lip balms and I still forget to take it out before washing! It's a giant ball for goodness sakes! Lol. I'm so glad you're getting in touch with friends and family! I feel like that's really something I need to do! And I feel the same way about everyone in this group as well!! (:

Cayla, I know all too well what you mean about tornadoes we live with them often here. My entire town was torn to shreads in April of 2011 the state of Alabama had 27 tornadoes touch down across the state. Jenn, I think I am going to have to try melissa's lotion I am just really weird about lotion and being slimy. 1. Funniest thing that happened to you in November? I went through a drive through on my phone, paid for my order and drove off, didn't notice I never got my order until I got home, so I had to go back up there it was pretty funny everybody got a good laugh. 2. Which books have you been reading? I am still only reading Shame Off You/Free yourself be yourself we do one chapter a week, so won't be finished until end of Dec. 3. Movies you watched in November? This is The End, I love all the actors in the movie, but found the movie a little dumb and at times a lot to take, I wanted to turn it off a few times but on of the people invited over to watch it was into it so I just let it go. Sure some of you loved it, just too much for me. 4. Something that made you proud of yourself? I made it an entire day last week without looking at my phone or computer, I admitt it did feel nice to just "be" with my family without any distractions. 5. Which games did you play? Kadence and I played "I spy with my little eye" on the way to school all last week, it was really fun. 6. Did you travel anywhere? Nope 7. What new food have you tried? nothing new, I still haven't recovered from the sushi from October lol 8. Which songs have you been listening to the most? I was on my matchbox20 kick in November 9. Favorite products, accessories, clothes, etc? I am loving my crockpot with cold nights, it has been nice to just throw it all in and be done. 10. What did you learn? That most of the quotes that I loved, I thought Marilyn Monroe said but it was actually an english professior in her 50's I think (you can google it) 11. Favorite CBV products for the month? Just got my 3rd order from CBV and we have still been melting peace, my mother wants everything else under the tree so it would have to still be peace... Although I found that the CBV warmer is perfect for keeping my coffee hot lol. Read more: cbvictoria.proboards.com/thread/20114/november-round#ixzz2mYKSl39C

1. My son Michael pulled his shirt up and over his nose leaving only his eyes peeking out and in his deepest 3 year old voice he said "I'm a ninja!" His sisters and myself totally fell apart laughing. 2. I read a lot of recipes this month, does that count lol? I feel like I must have read at least 10 different recipes for crockpot turkey. 3. I discovered in November that my 9 year old somehow has never watched The Princess Bride so we HAD to watch it. I felt like I failed as a parent. I also forced my kids to watch Big with me. Despite this movie being “old”, they giggled. Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving was their choice and all three of my kids liked it. My 9 year old daughter Mia swears Peppermint Patty is a boy! We also watched Man of Steel and as you can imagine my toddler is a little obsessed with Superman now. Michael however because he is only 3 years old calls Superman, Merman….makes me smile every time. 4. Pulling off Thanksgiving dinner by myself including the turkey totally made me proud of myself. I feel like somehow I have hit another milestone in adulthood. 5. Ellen DeGeneres has a game called Heads Up which is available as an app for your phone. We played this game on our Friday Thanksgiving and it is a TON of fun! 6. We were homebodies this month. 7. Crockpot turkey was my new food for the month. I honestly can’t wait to make it again. It was so easy and we had lots of leftovers for turkey sandwiches. 8. While running errands by myself (a treat in itself) I was able to listen to the classical music station. 9. Mellissa’s new lip balm in Buttercream is my new obsession! It is not overly flavored where I want to eat my lips off but it smells fantastic. I think it super moisturizing! This isn't really a product but I bought a huge box of Knox of gelatin for my husband to use as “fake skin” at Halloween (a total fail btw). I have a ton leftover so I wanted to find a way to use it up. I found a recipe using gelatin in your hair as a laminate (don’t ask because I’m not sure what that means hahaha). Figuring it couldn't’t hurt me I gave it shot and I must say after using the gelatin twice (the second time replacing the conditioner with half conditioner and half oil olive) my hair feels softer. Here is the link to the recipe I used in case anyone is interested in using up some gelatin they may have hidden in a cupboard. ko-te.com/en/beauty/gelatin-hair-mask-for-soft-strong-shiny-and-smooth-hair10. I have learned that I need to trust my capabilities more than I do and not let other people stress me out. Change can be hard especially around the holidays. Pleasing everyone is impossible and making memories with my kids and husband is what is important. Celebrating a holiday a day late isn't as important as celebrating it together with the people I love. 11. My favorite CBV products for the month of November have been my Buttercream lip balm and the scent Pumpkin Frappuccino! I seriously am getting that antsy hoarding feeling because I only have ½ of a scent shot left in Pumpkin Frappuccino.

Tornadoes totally scare me! I live in CA and we have an occasional warning with one that may touch down and knock a roof tile off. I can't imagine how terrifying they can be in locations where they do horrible damage. I don't know why but I use to have nightmares about tornadoes all of the time. I'm hoping you will all be safe and sound. Years ago I washed and dried a dark colored lipstick in a load of completely brand new clothes It ruined everything! Well I guess that was way more than a few years ago, before kids when I wore cute clothes Burts Bees tinted lip balm in the thin tube that has a mint flavor (can't remember the name) was one of my favorite lip products for a long time. Jenn, I love the Brussels Griffon dog from the movie As Good As it Gets! Shay I could totally see myself driving off with out my food too! I have left a bag of groceries at the store once :/

Jen, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who loses her chapstick to the laundry powers that be. I've heard of the movie Love In The Time Of Cholera but haven't seen it. How is the book so far? Also congratulations on your A! That's really great that you are doing well in your studies. Shay, I hate that slimy greasy feeling some lotions can have too. I am a stickler for a certain brand's body butter but I do want to try Melissa's someday to see if it is better. Matchbox 20 is a great band! I was listening to a few of their songs a few days ago! I really like Back To Good. Lisa, I know you can do anything you set your mind too so I'm glad that your Thanksgiving dinner turned out well. And I agree you can't let other people stress you out. Don't let anybody take your joy away especially in the season to be jolly! I worry a lot and fret over things but I'm trying to learn to let it be and to just be happy doing my own things. I think we all need to de-stress a bit lol.

I lose my phone constantly, I could lose it going from room to room. Once I put it in the cabinet when I opened it for a glass and I couldn't find it for like two days lol.

I went to use the microwave the other day and opened the cabinet instead, plate in hand. I stood there for a few seconds while my brain finally woke up. :/ Always leave your phones ringer on or at least on vibrate so you can find your phone easier. Yes this was a lesson someone in my house had to learn.

Haha hearing all your stories I don't feel so bad when I have moments like that. I constantly walk upstairs, forget what I needed, go back downstairs only to remember and then have to go right back up for it. It might be a genetic thing because my parents have been caught putting the milk jug or something from the fridge on top of the fridge while they searched for something else (we never have enough room in the fridge) then they forget to put it back so who knows how long it stayed up there lol.
