So I've been going over my list of the scents I want to order in August. However I just can't seem to make up my mind or narrow down some of them. It would really help me a lot if you could give me your opinions on what any of these smell like. I've checked the CBV Browser already but for some of them that wasn't much help. Here are the scents I am unsure of... Goldilocks Marshmallow Banana Dream Cake Apple Gingerbread Spice Banana Caramel Cupcake Banana Cream Pie (is this one as good as Banana Coconut Cream Pie?) Brown Sugar Shortbread Earthquake Elvis Watermelon Cupcake Banana Fritters Vanilla Sugar Crème Brule Sugared Spruce Golden Cadillac Cherries And Chestnuts Cherry Cobbler Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte Country Berry Hotcakes French Toast Lemon Vanilla Patti Cake Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Cayla,
I dont know how much help I can be but ive tried Elvis and sugard spruce. Ihave had apple gingebread spice and brown sugar short bread but gave them away as gifts.
Elvis is a amazing banana scent. I never knew I liked banana scents until I got this one. Its a sweet banana scent it kind of reminds me of runts candies. I really love this smell.
Sugared spruce to me just smells like trees. I dont really get much sweetness out of it. I havnt burned this one yet. But if you want a clean tree smell you will like this one.
The 2 I gave away I asked my friend what she thought she says...
She really likes the apple gingerbread spice. It reminds her of a spiced apple pie. And the brown sugar short bread just smells like sweet sugar to her.
Sorry I couldnt help more but hopefully that helps a little.

I am not going to be too much help because I have only tried Brown Sugar Shortbread and Sugared Spruce.
Sugared Spruce - I personally love it! It is not a pine scent but to me is it the perfect Christmas tree scent. It smells like a really nice sweetened evergreen. I'm not exactly sure what the "sugared" part is besides just sugar. I do not detect any vanilla. For me it is a scent a I would burn all year but is great for Christmas too. I have a fake Christmas tree and can't wait to have Sugared Spruce melting this year. If you like the smell of pine, White Christmas is really nice (I haven't melted it though). I'm actually a bit crazy in love with it cold. There is a sweet floral note in it that I can't quite figure out. The pine however has a bit of that menthol effect of slightly opening your sinuses.
Brown Sugar Shortbread - This is a very nice scent. If you like Granny's Pie Crust you will probably like this one too. For me it wasn't too different from GPC to really wow me. The brown sugar does make it a little richer but I think I wanted there to be more brown sugar goodness in this scent. After Brown Sugar Shortbread I asked my family if they preferred it over GPC and like me they said no. So my opinion is unless you are almost out of Granny's Pie Crust I'd suggest trying something different. Of course that is just my nose and you may just want to compare the two.
After sniffing Banana Coconut Cream Pie I really want to try more banana scents too. I haven't tried any of the banana scents you've listed. Marshmallow Banana Dream Cake sounds divine! Banana Caramel Cupcake, I'm not sure I want cinnamon with my banana unless I want it to smell like banana bread (mmmmmm banana bread). I have not tried Elvis but Cinnamon Donuts is soooooo good. I bet Banana Fritters might be the yummiest out of your banana choices. I have a feeling Banana Cream Pie might be really close to Banana Coconut Cream Pie.
Oh wait I do have Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte but I haven't melted it yet. I get a fresh ginger smell from it cold. It has all of the spices that are perfect for fall and winter. It is a scent I know my spice hating husband wont like and even for myself I hope the ginger tones down a bit. Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte's are my favorite and honestly THE only drink I ever buy from Starbucks. On cold the "gingerbread" is just really ginger but I do have high hopes for this scent. I will try to melt it soon when my husband isn't home and I'll let you know my thoughts.
Even though I don't own Watermelon Cupcake I do have Tiffany-D (melting now) and Pink Cupcake. I can see how these two would be nice together. I'm sure Watermelon Cupcake must be very sweet since both scents are very sweet alone.
Lemon Vanilla is a scent on my wish list and I have a feeling I'd love. I've seen French Toast getting lots of love.
Sorry I haven't tried more of those scents. I can't wait to hear what you think of the banana scents you do chose. BTW I bought banana Laffy Taffy's thanks to BCCP and it taste sooooo good!

My Patti Cake Scent Shot was received on June 6 and hasn't developed into anything wonderful yet. I just popped another quarter into a silicone cup and into the warmer. IF anything more impressive happens on warm throw, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I suggest you make another selection.
On warm throw there was a low scent level but large throw. Vague pleasant bakery scent. Something more intense and specific would make me happier.
I melted Pink Cupcake today. It was so much better than Patti Cake!!!!!! Very sweet if that's an issue for you.

Thanks so much for all of your input guys! I think I will not be purchasing Patti Cake and Brown Sugar Shortbread after hearing what you guys have to say. I melted the regular Sugar Shortbread today for the first time and while I thought it was nice it wasn't really something I would purchase again for myself. It was a bit like Granny's Pie Crust, but not nearly as good. So if Brown Sugar Shortbread is somewhere in between GPC and SS then I think I will just skip it and stick to GPC. I think you guys sold me on Sugared Spruce though. I am not a fan of pine scents myself and I know my mother HATES anything that smells like pine so I've been picky about what Christmas scents to get because a lot of them have pine in them. So I have high hopes for Sugared Spruce. Everyone in my family likes Cold December Night and I know Sugared Spruce is half of that mixture so I have a good feeling it will go over well. I'm just really intrigued by what it might smell like. disalan We use fake christmas trees too so it would be nice to have a slightly sweet tree scent in the house. We tried a real tree one year and OMG NEVER AGAIN!! One of my dogs kept using the pine needles to scratch his back on and so pine needles would be EVERYWHERE in the house. Plus stepping on those little needles hurt! Not to mention them poking me over and over again while I was decorating the thing. (I'm the only one who decorates the tree now since I'm the youngest and the rest of my family feel to old to do it now that we aren't kids anymore. ) Also I just now realized how many banana scents I have in there lol! I hadn't noticed, but maybe I have been secretly craving banana scents since I just received Banana Walnut like a week ago and it is sitting on my desk. It smells ONLY like banana runts or laffy taffy. It is strange while I like banana scents they aren't my favorite I am more of an apple or blueberry kind of girl. I think all the talk about Banana Coconut Cream Pie on the board has put subliminal messages into my head.

Cayla, I don't know if my comments will help you or not but here it goes!
Goldilocks - I really love this scent. It it a nice homey scent with citrus notes. I say go for it.
Banana Cream Pie (is this one as good as Banana Coconut Cream Pie?) - I like Banana Coconut Cream Pie better.
Elvis - Love Elvis! It is creamy and to me, neither the peanut butter or banana is too overpowering.
Banana Fritters - I have this but haven't melted it yet, but I am loving it cold. You might wait on this if you are worried that you won't like Elvis, but I think you will like Elvis.
Sugared Spruce - Love this scent too! It is not your typical pine scent.. it is sweet and so good! I think the only one for me that could beat this is Tomahawk Memories.
Golden Cadillac - Haven't melted this yet, but cold it smells like a really rich vanilla.
Cherries And Chestnuts - This one is super strong! I don't like cherry scents mostly and this one tends to go a little cough syrupy.
Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte - This is my second favorite coffee scent next to Raspberry White Mocha. It is not overly spicy, just right.
Country Berry Hotcakes - A great bakery scent. Really fruity with just enough of that pancake smell in the background.
Lemon Vanilla - Cynthia really likes this one. She had it in lotion and was sad that she finished up the bottle just a few days ago. It is stronger on the lemon than something like Lemon Meringue Pie.

Real trees can be messy and your right the needles get everywhere. I don't buy glitter for the very same reason. My issues with using a real tree is that I hate the idea of killing a it, dressing up and discarding of it when it has served it's brief purpose. I'd rather a tree be planted than cut down. I've thought of getting various potted trees or plants over the years and then plant them when ready. The only problem is I have the blackest thumb. My intentions are good, I have tons of gardening books and have visited countless sites about gardening. One day when my backyard is no longer ruled by our fat little Boston Terrier Lola, I will attempt gardening again. I guess I'll have to stick with floral/green scents until that day comes.
Sometimes I also wonder if subliminally scents make their way into my mind and on my wish list. I have been craving a banana scent for a little while but I bet it is because I read/heard about BCCP as well.
ShannonC, You've got me wanting to try Golden Cadillac now!

I will pass on Banana Cream Pie for now too since I still have some Banana Coconut Cream Pie left. How is your schooling and work going by the way?

I have the worst green thumb as well! My grandmother can bring just about any plant to life, but I on the other hand do the EXACT same thing as she does and it still dies... Fortunately for me my backyard is a cornfield with a little bit of wooded tree area off to the left and then we have large trees both at the end of our fence and then two in the front yard so I am not in need of more nature. Still I tried planting a few pink rose bushes near the house last year...yeah they are dead as dead can be. But the lilac bush survived...because my dad planted it. Every plant I touch seems to die no matter how hard I try so I feel your pain.

Many of you scents are on my wish list too! Watermelon cupcake is pretty good if you like TiffanyD. Personally, I like it more because it has a really sweet bakery note to it.
Sugared spruce wasn't what I was expecting. All I get is extremely strong pine, but it still has to cure. If you like pine, this would be a good addition to your collection.
Elvis is pure awesomeness!! Yes, im making up words. The peanut butter just adds a creamy note to we banana scent that makes it so interesting in delicious. A must try!!
I can't wait to hear your review on this order!

Apple Gingerbread Spice- So good....get it! I love all the banana scents! Banana Caramel Cupcake had a weird note in it when I first got it. I haven't melted it yet but it's gotten better. There's someone on the FB page that talks about how much she loves it though. Brown Sugar Shortbread, Elvis, Cherries and Chestnuts, and Cherry Cobbler are so good. I think I prefer Cherry Cookies though. Country Berry Hotcakes to me just smelled like frozen mixed berries on cold throw, but warmed, it's so good. I have French Toast but I haven't melted it yet. I was really excited for it, but on cold throw it seems really light

Melting Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte now. When I first got this scent it was really spicy and had a strong ginger note. It is not overly spicy melting. The cinnamon is sweet and reminds me of the cinnamon in Cinnamon Donuts, I can still smell the ginger but it is toned down a lot. It gives this scent the "gingerbread" note. I'm not sure but there may be a slight bakery note but if it is there it is slight. It is warm, sweet, and the perfect amount of spice. I don't get much coffee from it and that is fine because latte's are not really strong on the coffee side anyway. I bet a sweet frosting/cream/milk scent could be added to this and it would be lovely. Has anyone tried Sweet Milk? I also wonder if Frenchville Coffee would be nice mixed with this scent? I am very pleased with this scent and would re-order it. I'd let it cure for a little while if you do get it.
