The first of the month and since I have my computer back I am able to upload my scent reviews for this month. Since it is my favorite month of the year I picked scents whose names reminded me of Halloween themes and fall type scents. I also made sure all the gifs were Halloween themed too just for giggles. I hope some of you find my review helpful and if you plan on getting anything tell me what scent. queentakesjack22.blogspot.com/2013/10/wicks-will-roll.html

Good job once again! I felt the same way about key lime pie. I definitely liked it more on cold through because it had depth with the crust. Banana walnut smells like laffy taffy to me too....so much for smelling like banana bread. You made me really interested in pizelle, so it moved up some spots on the wish list

Great Reviews! You have me very interested in pizelle, leaves type and blueberry flapjacks. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who did not care for Under the Big Top. The caramelized pralines turned me off as well.

First I love your gifs! Clever title Pizzelle is a great one! I'm happy you liked it too. For me it is a "fresh" bakery scent. You described it wonderfully! Key Lime Pie sounds like one I may need to try. I do love citrus scents in all forms. I have Lemon Meringue Pie coming soon (my husbands favorite pie) and it would be nice to compare the two. I have yet to melt Leaves Type and I totally get that dried leaves smell. The other notes I had a hard time describing now make perfect sense after reading your review. It will be very interesting to see how this smells in Rocky Mountain Christmas. Night At The Movies is one I just order and it is one I've been on the fence about. It seems like lots of people like it. I was also afraid it might be too buttery and I will probably never be ordering Buttered Popcorn on it's own. Popcorn Jelly Belly's are my least favorite, I will seriously spit them out! After reading your review of Spa La La and watching Jason's review of this scent I am quite certain now that my Spa La La is a dud or my nose is broken. I will probably have to reorder it again to be 100% sure. When I melted it for the first time I did remember you saying melt a 1/2 of a ss. It was still light but not fruity. I actually turned it off because it didn't seem right and I really needed something else in that moment. Heavy Metal is a scent that I like but don't need to have. Some scents make me panicky when I only have a 1/2 of a ss left. I wouldn't need a back up of Heavy Metal but I could see myself ordering it once in a blue moon because I find it to be a fun scent. I think it would be a good scent to melt during a kids party. Thank you for your honest review of 007. It smells like an upscale perfume to me. It wasn't relaxing to me like I had hoped it to be. Actually when I melted it, I felt under-dressed. It IS fabulous in b&b if you like this scent. My mom loves 007 and once I saw it was added to b&b I knew I had to get it for her. It is not a scent I'd wear but for my mom it is perfect! You have me completely kicking myself for not ordering Dark Angel in my last two orders. You can bet it will be in my next ! Berry Alive may be perfect for me because I do enjoy berry scents and they seem to be house favorites as well. Thanks for your very detailed in depth review. I always look forward to reading them every month

PS -
Is the Pouring Pot not going to be around anymore after the new site launches? Did I miss something?

Was it mentioned somewhere? I don't recall reading anything about it leaving I think I may have misread the end of Cayla's blog. I think when she said "enjoy it before it's gone" she meant the current CBV website not the board. Correct me if I'm wrong Cayla

I may have to add Pizzelle to my list. Just received Granny's Pie Crust a week ago, on cold sniff it's ok. Can't wait to let it cure some more, so that I can finally smell it warm.

Correct me if I'm wrong Cayla Haha yes the CBV current layout of the website is the only thing that is going to be gone. The Pouring Pot will be just fine (at least to my knowledge). I just meant to enjoy the old CBV layout and it's homeyness one last time before the new site launches. Sorry if it was confusing I wrote that last paragraph up pretty fast because I wanted to get my review up on the 1st lol.

Berry Alive may be perfect for me because I do enjoy berry scents and they seem to be house favorites as well. Key Lime Pie does smell like the real deal, but sadly the crust note on cold does disappear when warmed but it is still yummy and worth the try if you like the actual pie. Call me crazy but I don't much care for buttered popcorn in anything. The only kind I like is at the movies which I very rarely get because it is so bad for you. Most the time I buy store bought and I buy kettle corn. I didn't care much for Night At The Movies but hopefully you will. It is an interesting combination that is for sure but you will have to know when you get yours and it has cured if you get a slight "perfume" note in it like I did. I can see Spa La La as a scent that goes either way on the fruity side. Since they are all hand poured I can see how some may get a touch more fruit than others. It isn't the juiciest scent either way though mine was nice. I completely agree with you on Heavy Metal. It is an okay scent but not really something I want my house to smell like all the time. I think you'd have to really like florals to like 007. So it just wasn't my cup of tea. Definitely gonna swap it once the Round Robin gets here. I've got so many to swap! Like I said in the review Dark Angel is really good if you love mint. I like that it is really different and kind of sexy smelling without that sharp sinus clearing mint that smells somewhat like menthol.

There isn't any good reason I haven't tried the Kettle Corn scent except for the fact I am afraid I will to eat it. There has yet to be a mint scent that I have not liked, I like them all. Mint scents are refreshing and relaxing to me and everyone in my house also seems to like them as much as I do. I bet I'd like Mint Tea too. A sexy mint is must try for sure!

If you like popcorn Sticky Toffee Corn smells a lot like caramel corn with peanuts in it.
Mint Tea was really nice it actually smelt like an herbal tea with a pinch of mint. It was very relaxing smelling and the mint wasn't sharp or too strong at all.

I am avoiding nut scents because of my sons peanut allergy. Trust my every delicious nut scent would be in my possession if I were not being so cautious. Sticky Toffee Corn sounds like it could possibly be a top for me.
I wonder which is better Kettle Corn or Caramel Corn?
