I live in Michigan, near Detroit. We didn't get hit nearly as hard as some of the places - but we did get about 10" over night, and unfortunately, a new cluster of storms started this morning, and it looks like we'll be pelted again pretty soon. Should be a short one though. I'd guess we'll have about 12" accumulation. I went out a little past midnight last night to shovel because my husband had to wake up at 4:40 for work. (Though he ended up not having to work in the end.) We had about 5-6" by that time, it took me about 45 minutes. I'm sore this morning, LOL. Attachments:

Lol awe you deserve a nice long bubble bath!
I'm in Connecticut, right along the coast. We have around 19 inches total, and don't know what to do with it. Our roads are condensed to one lane because thats all the plows could push out of the way. I've gone to class 2 times in two weeks because of this snow.

We've been lucky so far, with about 3/4 inch of actual freezing rain ice all over stuff. A lot of the frozen precipitation was sleet, so there is a couple of inches of that on the roads but that's SO much better than having 2 more inches of frozen rain on trees and power lines. They're calling for about 1 to 2 inches of snow on top of what we already have (old snow and 2 inches of sleet). You can't plow ice, so it's going to be messed up for awhile. The state is "emergency travel only". I've seen people actually complain because this isn't worse. I have zero desire to be without heat, so this is more than enough bad weather for me.

We have ICE over in Jersey. Our tree out front is completely FROZEN, its crazy! Needless to say, we had a double snowday (no school yesterday or today!). There are literally NO cars on the road- basically everyone is locked away at home waiting for it to melt.

We ended up with about 15" total, as if right now, and it's only flurrying now. But it's supposed to be Mostly Sunny for the next two days at least, with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees, so I imagine some of it might melt away.
I'd take this over ice any day!!

I looked outside and our driveway, cars, trees, snow, pets are coated with ice! Okay.. maybe my pets aren't 'coated' lol but the dogs love slipping all over our new ice-skating-rink-backyard Every store around us is sold out of salt, idk what we're going to do to fix this

You can HAVE all the snow! This winter has been really mild... which is wonderful, since we got TWO blizzards last winter, both over 30 inches each! It felt like the entire world shut down that winter
