I'm new here! I have just started loving candles and found this page on Google. I'm right now righting stage 4 bile duct cancer. I like to take candles to the hospital with me when I have a long stay. It makes it feel more like home. We also travel from Alabama to MD Anderson in Houston TX. I like to put candles in my hotel room, I just love the feeling it gives. A little more about me...I'm 30 years old. Wife to Brian..and Mommy to Carter-6 and Madison-3. I have been put on a liver transplant list, but the wait is going to be very long. Right now I'm kicking cancers butt. So, what would you recommend to someone who has never ordered from here? Putting a picture of my husband and I up for you all! Attachments:

What scents do you love? (i.e. bakery, fruity, floral?)

I just like a nice warm "home" scent. I guess anything that smells like something baking.

A warm welcome to you! We're glad that you've joined us! You and your husband are a darling couple. Sending positive thoughts to you while you wait for your transplant. I think that your positive attitude is wonderful, and it's great that you've found some favorite things (like candles) to make you feel more comfortable while you have to be away from home. Some recent favorites of mine have been Sweet Southern Breakfast (didn't like it cold, but after some cure time and warmed up - it was awesome!), and Spellbound (great for autumn!). I've been a long-time fan of Berry Blackberry Cobbler, Wildberry Scone, and Chocolate Strawberries. Let us know some of your favorites when you find them!

Welcome to the Pouring Pot! This is a really close supportive bunch so I hope you feel like home here!
Some scents to try if you like "Homey baking smells"- Peanut Butter Cookies, Cinnabon, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Pink Cupcake, and Pumpkin Cider. Pumkin Cider smells like pumpkin pie filling with some cider in there.

Welcome to the boards. Prayers are with you, stay strong!
My favorite scents are in my signature that I highly recommend if you like clean scents perfume or floral. There are so many great scents though that so far I really have not bought a single candle that I didn't at least enjoy the smell of from CBV.
