I got to set up my account, list some favorites, start a shopping cart and look at new goodies in Bath and Body! Yea! I love the concept of the Shower Fizzies!
Only two things were lacking. I had hoped the scent search bar into which I type...say Gardenia would give every scent with Gardenia in it, but I only got a list of scents with Gardenia in the name. Southern Nights, Sunflower and Charleston Breeze also have Gardenia in them. The Wish List will accept "Scent Shots" but not the list of fragrances I want them in! Anyone find a way to do that?
My old avatar disappeared so I uploaded a photo of my blue point Himalayan, AbbieJolie.

Just finished creating an account and adding a couple things to my shopping cart and favorites. Would have done more, but I'm getting sleepy.

Loving the new website. It is very clean and put together but still homey like CBV is. The only downsides I have found so far are that like AbbieJolie said when you add something to your wish list it doesn't save the scents you want them in. Also that I can't add all of the scents that I have TRIED not just my favorites. Then there is the rise in cost of CAS glitter tureens but that is an understandable rise since you are getting two scents after all. Then the last thing which isn't really a complaint at all it just means more work for me is that they re-did some of their scent categories such as getting rid of the coffee fragrances category and just putting them wherever they fit best. Normally not a big deal but I have been working on an alphabetical scent review list split off in scent categories for my blog and now I will have to move several things around so that will be very time consuming. #First world problems lol.
Oh, and there is a search bar on the scents page. It is on the right hand side underneath the Categories bar. Just typed in Gardenia to see if it works and it does. I hope that helps you guys some!
Is anybody else afraid to rate a scent? I have no problems writing a review but the way ratings systems work is based off of averages and so if I don't like a scent I rate it 1 star and then that 1 star brings down the average. The problem with that is I don't like it because of personal preference not because the product or scent itself is "bad" and I don't what to discourage others who may like what is in that scent to not buy it because the average rating for it was low. Let's take magnolia for instance. Magnolia is a very strong floral, and a lot of people can't handle strong florals so let's say all of those people vote 1 star on the rating system. Now a floral lover is browsing through scents and looks at the low rating for Magnolia and unless they read the reviews of why people rated low they believe it was rated low because the scent was "bad" or because it didn't actually smell like Magnolia. Do you guys see where I'm coming from? I know I'm reading way too much into this, but I really rely on scent recommendations from you guys and others so I myself am afraid of making someone miss out on a scent they might really love. I have problems lol.

Ooooh! I see your point!
I found the search bar in "Scents" but I must remember that it will only search Scent names, not ingredients.

Queentakesjack....I was worried about the ratings too! So for now I only rate scents I love. Once people get to rating I will add some more of the "negative" ratings.

There are so many things I love about the new site. I love that I can list my favorites (they do not alphabetize themselves so keep that in mind when you add yours) and I love being able to see others favorites as well. I do love that I can make a wish list however it is a wish list for certain products like shower fizzies (yay), glitter tureens, scent shots and so on BUT I can NOT save a particular scent to my wish list. I was going to add all of my current "want nows" to my wish list (about 20 scent shots). I was only able to add a single single scent shot to my wish list with an undefined scent. Hopefully we will be able to add the scent option to items in our wish list but until then it is nice that I know I wont be able to forget those new shower fizzies I have already made a few reviews. Last night was going to be spent adding many more reviews until I discovered a typo in something I had written and learned that I could not edit reviews I have already posted. Keep this in mind and be sure to proofread. I make mistakes ALL of the time and usually catch them later. I once meant to write under dressed and ended up typing undressed lol! I really hope that we will be able to edit reviews. The search feature is fantastic but like AbbieJolie mentioned if you search for a particular word like "pear" your search will only return scent names with the word pear in them including Spearmint. I like to search for certain notes like mint or sandalwood ect and of course the notes will only be found in the scent description. I think it would be really great if the the search feature is expanded to search scent descriptions. I absolutely see your point Cayla about rating scents. I have yet to review and rate a scent that wasn't necessarily a favorite. It's easier to review favorites quickly right now anyway. I want to be honest about scents that are just not for me but I don't want to turn someone else completely off from trying them. I do not like Rolling In The Deep at all but I know Victoria does and so do others. Breathe of Ireland is not a scent I like either but I have seen so many other people love this scent. Here is hoping there will numerous scent reviews for one scent. I think Eucalyptus Spearmint or any other mint scent would be great in the shower fizzies when you have cold.

I think you need to rate scents the way that you honestly feel. Everyone has different nose and I would hope that everyone understands that. I have rated a couple only three stars because honestly I would never purchase that scent again. I will however not rate anything one star. There have been many scents that I did not care for, but that was because my nose does not typically like earthy scents.
