Hello. My name is Shay and I am a candle/ anything smell good fanatic!! I am a platinum member plus card holder at our local candle store here in Cullman, AL and they sold the place a few months back and things have just changed from product, cost, customer service, and anyway... I found out about CBV yesterday started asking other people and apparently little Cullman didn't get the memo about your wonderful company. Anyways I made my mom (she is where I got my love for candles/smell goods) and my husband watch all the review videos on youtube and we studied your website for what seemed like and hour lol. Anyways, you guys have soooo many scents to choose from I was hoping to get some suggestions of some really good ones. I think I am going to start out with the scent shots. okay so my preference is just about anything except fruity! I love the "home" smell and I love to use scents for whatever season it is. I was curious about the bon fire scent because one of my favorite things to do is sit by a bonfire with my family and friends. I love the clean and spa smell and perfume as well. Ok so if somebody could give me some must haves for those I would really appreciate it. Also I have a warmer here from another fairly large company that I tried because it seemed like a good product turns out it was just the next cool thing to do and I wasn't happy with their product either, anyways can I use their warmer with your scent shots or should I purchase the warmer you have?

Welcome to the boards Shay! We are happy to have you here and we hope that you will enjoy CBV as much as we all do. As for the bonfire scent I think you are referring to Bonfire Bliss. I can't speak for everyone but I personally liked Bonfire Bliss even though I'm not really a big fan of woodsy or earthy scents. I thought it did indeed smell like a real bonfire like with the burning logs and everything with a tiny hint of brown sugar and a small whiff of musk in there too. Some of my favorite scents from CBV that I think you may like are Pizelle (it smells like a wonderful light and sweet bakery scent. I've yet to have someone tell me they don't care for it when I melt it in my house), Clothesline Fresh (it smells just like freshly washed sheets that were hung outside on the line to dry in the sun), DKNY Delicious (is a perfect dupe for be delicious so if you like the perfume it is dead on), Flower Bomb (smells so girly and floral and feminine), Bella Swan (A very pretty and feminine light floral. I'm not a floral lover but I love this one as well as Sophie Belle which is like an even lighter girlier version of Bella as well as Cleopatra's Closet which is kind of a more grown up version of Bella being a bit more sexier and elegant smelling.)and of course I can't forget Chocolate Chip Cookie (don't be fooled by how it smells cold, melt it and it will smell like crisp baking cookies straight out of the oven!) and Fudge Brownie (once again don't be fooled by cold throw alone, I don't care for artificial chocolate smells at all but warm this scent up and it doesn't smell fake at all. It is legit brownies) Also Christmas will be here before we know it and some of my fav Christmas scents are Cold December Night (smells crisp with a cooling slightly minty undertone but the mint isn't overpowering or too strong), Star Of Bethlehem (a nice soft spice scent smells mainly of clove and frankincense I feel it is very homey), Christmas Lane (it smells like everything I love about Christmas rolled into one scent a little bit of soft apple, a little bit of balsam and pine, with a soft spice background of clove and a hint of cinnamon), Snow Taffy (smells like a rich creamy decadent vanilla) Peppermint Bark (smells just like what it is duping only better. Perfect blend of white chocolate and soft mint it smells just like an Andes Mint)and Sweet Snow (cool peppermint with vanilla to tone it down and keep it from being too stringent. Great if you have a stuffy nose too!) As for your warmer, Victoria's wax for scent shots is a harder kind of wax so you do need a warmer with a higher wattaged bulb. I would recommend at least a 20 watt warmer to be on the safe side. The ones Victoria sells on the site are 24 watts and I have two and personally think they are wonderful. I haven't had any problems with them at all. The two I have, I have had for over a year and almost a half now and so far they still work like new and are easy to clean thanks to the dish on top being removable. The bottom half of the plate also works great for warming candles on if you have candles but don't want to light them. Just be sure if there are any labels on the bottoms of the glass to take those off before placing them on the hot plates. I hope that helps you some. If you have any questions about anything the company, the products, curing, wick trimming or what not don't hesitate to ask. Everyone here on the boards are all very helpful and informative. We all have different noses and different ways of using the products so if you are unsure on anything I'm sure we will all do our best to help you out.
