Ok so I've been told to cure all my cbv wax. I don't know what that means. I've never had to do that I just buy, trim, and light is there more?.

All of the candles by CBV are made fresh to order, so yes you will need to let them cure. Scent shots will not take as long, I usually give my scent shots 2 weeks before melting just to be sure. Candles will take longer to cure 100% however, a candle will continue to cure even after you light it the first time. Rule of thumb the wonderful ladies here told me was to let your nose be your guide. Once you smell your candle if it smells the way you think it is supposed to then go ahead and burn, if it smells weak, waxy, or there is a scent note that you really don't like put it away for a while and come back to it another time and see if other scent notes have come out. Also, when you first light your candle make sure you let the wax pool reach all the way to the edges so that you will get a clean burn everytime. Also, Victoria's bakery scents take the longest to cure, but people say they are the best around so they are worth it. Hope this helps and can't wait to see what you think about your order.

Ok thank you, I wasn't sure what the 'cure' meant lol. I have tons of candles and tarts to burn through so I gues my cbv wax will get cured lol. I'm so excited for my orders to come lol. I hope my friend likes what I bought her from cbv as well. My first two orders are on the way so I'm super excited.

I am currently waiting on an order to cure as well, I keep smelling them lol. Just give it time. I didn't have other wax to use so I was super anxious. I can't wait to see your review.

Shay pretty much answered this perfectly. To cure all you have to do is let it sit before melting it really. I was really confused about curing when I first got into CBV as well. I never heard of doing that before with other companies. Like you I just bought it and then used it. Now I let everything cure and it has become second nature now with orders. I order scents a month in advance before I plan to use them just in case. I want them to be fully cured when I'm in the mood to use them haha.
