Oh my goodness, it's been such a long time since I've been on here! Since August my life has been insane! I got hired in the beginning of August to teach 2nd grade and moved (first time living on my own) as many of you knew. I also started dating an amazing guy (long distance)and we spend almost every weekend together. During the week I'm constantly grading papers and in October I started tutoring a 2nd grader, 3rd grader, 9th grader, and working with a college sudent in math. On Sunday evenings, I go to my class and make copies and plan for the week. Then two weeks ago, I slid into a really deep ditch, hitting a tree and totaling my car. I also had to start paying my student loans. So basically, life has been extremely crazy. And I'm always very broke which means maybe it is a good idea to stay off the board for awhile lol. Let's just say my cart is saved with over a $100 and I'm still wanting to add a specialty candle, whipped soap, sugar scrub etc. And there's just no way I can afford it. I just looked at the board for a moment, and I totally missed out on Secret Santa! That has always been so fun How are all of you?

Allison those are a lot of life changes all at once! I am sure it is all overwhelming at times but you sound like you are handling these new changes an challenges very well. I am happy you met an amazing guy! I bet you really look forward to your weekends and your time together. How very scary about your car! I hope you were able to walk away with out any injuries. Will you need to replace it? Thanks for popping in and updating us. Cayla is in the process of moving and I am sure this crazy time of year has everyone spinning in circles. I believe that 2014 has great things in store for everyone!

I was safe, only sore for a few days. I replaced it already. Luckily, my niece's dad sells cars and gave me a discount.
And I love spending time with him! I just wish we lived closer. When we first met we lived almost an hour closer.
How have you been?

Sorry to hear about your accident but I'm glad you are okay. It is great that you are doing well otherwise. I understand staying away from temptation but we miss ya so stop by every now and then to let us know how you are doing.

I am so happy you weren't hurt and were able to replace your car. I have been good Car trouble but lucky it didn't cost more than we feared to have it fixed. My family has been very lucky so far and we have not caught the nasty flu that is going around. My oldest daughter, a Sophomore, is busy with homework and studying for tests, My daughter in 4th grade just tried out to be Cruella Deville in a school play. She didn't get the part she wanted but got picked to play Lucky one pf the Dalmatians. My 3 year old son keeps me pretty busy but he is a ton of fun and makes me laugh everyday.

Wow, I am glad you are OK! I haven't been on the board as much as I would like either. Between helping my sister through the week with her oldest kids so she could be at the hospital with her newest baby and working during the day. Then weekends we are working on the rental so we can move soon. It,s just been crazy. So I understand and I am so glad you're okay.

Glad to see you back here!
Besides the car accident and lack of funds (I feel you!), it sounds like you are doing great. Congrats on the new relationship!
