So I know we have mentioned in passing before in previous posts about some sites that we like, like Etsy or MyFitnessPal or Pinterest and so it got me thinking what are some of your guys' favorite websites? I'm always looking for new and interesting sites to browse. Right now I really like
www.freerice.com it is a free charity website where all you have to do is answer some trivia questions. (there are a lot of different categories and levels from easy to hard) and every time you get the answer right (it's multiple choice don't worry) freerice will donate 10 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program (it's legit) so you help feed people and make yourself smarter in the process. A win win right?
chocolatecoveredkatie.com/ I have mentioned before but it has a ton of healthier and vegan recipes of all kinds of things especially sweets. She also gives a lot substitutions for certain ingredients in case you don't have that one so you can work with what you do have. Also most are pretty simple and don't require a lot of skill or utensils to make. So love this blog. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough dip and it was really good. I never would have thought that chickpeas would taste good or sweet but even my mom who was completely against trying it loved it.
For fun I like to watch The Lizzie Bennet Diaries on youtube. It is a modern viral re-telling of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. It is shot in a vlog type style and it's really funny and I like the actors and all the sass. Plus George Wickham is incredibly good looking. ;)It even won an emmy. So if you are bored and like Pride & Prejudice but want something a little more to date then go watch it! Each video is only like 5 minutes long to it is easy to find stopping points for breathers.
And of course I love Etsy. So many cute things so little time and money to buy them. What are some of your guys' favorite sites?
