Believe it or not but it is actually ready to be May! 2014 is going by quickly ins't it? Well I thought we could all make goals for what we want to accomplish this month, then we can go back and see if we fulfilled them or not. The goals can be anything really, whether to try a new cbv scent or to do some spring cleaning or something bigger than that.
My goals for this month is to finally get all of our stuff officially put away. We finally got all of our stuff here to the new house this weekend so now we have everything but my office is just filled with boxes of stuff we need to go through and find places for. Another goal I have is this month on the 18th I will begin RCIA in my church which will be like an official welcoming to the church and like adult bible school where they will teach us all of the church's teachings and stuff so I'm excited about that.
Those are the big goals. My small goals are to finish reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray, and to eat less and more healthier (a constant goal lol). And I also want to get my scent reviews all finished and posted so I can start on hopefully next month's.
Those are my goals for this month. What are yours?

I really can't believe May is around the corner!
My goals are some that have been on my list for a while now! One of them is graduating school!!! I got held back a year because of a past relationship I was in. I know I shouldn't blame it on the relationship but a lot of it has held me back because of it. My ex was pretty verbally abusive toward me but now I'm in a much better relationship where my boyfriend is always encouraging me. I need to pass my classes with a 3.7 so that I can graduate from college!
Another goal is to find a place to live! My current lease is up at the end of May so it's been pretty stressful trying to look for a place to live! I have a place in mind but I haven't been able to turn in the application yet because my boyfriend has been procrastinating on his application (he's my cosigner). But I called him early this morning and told him to fill everything out since I have to give my 30 day notification soon!
I also want to get my blog up and running again but I don't think I'll get to it this month because of school and such.

It's pretty nuts that it's the end of April now. Congrats Kayla on the RCIA role in your church. That sounds really awesome. I totally understand the moving situation too, luckily my bf and I don't have too many things in our apartment.
Jenn- I knew a close friend who was in a mental and verbally abusive relationship before. It's incredibly unhealthy and its surprising how difficult it is to really see the harm from it. I'm glad you are out of that! Good luck in finding an apartment! We are in the midst of searching for our home, so also send us some well wishes our way too. =0P I use to blog a couple of years ago, definitely keep it! I regret not continuing it further.
chelscbvforever- Are you going to plan out your bday party? Aw, 21 for me feels so long ago. Haha, I feel so old. What kind of plants do you like to grow? I had tulips on my desk and I felt really silly that they died in a week.
Oh gosh, I don't have any goals for May! I'll think of some haha, but wow I can't think of anything.

Well lots of different plants, zinnias, columbine, asters, foxgloves, morning glories, herbs, lily of the valley. And finally got my orchids to do somethig lol. Gardening is hard so dont feel silly if something dies. I have lost a few of my plants(cats step all over them). I am not a drinker actually a commitment never to drink, so 21 will be more staying home for me with family:)

I love this idea! So, I did something completely crazy…I signed up for a marathon last week! I am running the Disney full in January, 26.2 miles. Yuck! But, I'm doing it for a great cause and also something to kickstart my weight loss. I have been consistently losing since I've been selling these natural weight loss products, but I have been feeling like I should finally add in some exercise!! I am so excited to see more progress, but also to push myself and give me something to work for in the chaos of life. I'll be happy (hopefully) to report on my progress soon!

Jenn: I'm glad that you are out of that unhealthy relationship and are doing much better in this one. I hope you find a place that is perfect for you soon! Good luck with your studies! I know it is hard to study especially on frustrating subjects but I know you can do it. I miss your blog posts so I look forward to when you get it up again, but you are right, focus on studying and getting a new place first. I hope everything works out for you! Chelscbvforever: Congratulations on turning 21 soon! It is a big milestone and I'm proud of you for sticking to your commitment. I have never really known much about plants though I do like them a lot, but this new place we moved into has lots of pretty plants popping up. We have red tulips in back that are so pretty and a lot of plants I have no idea what they are. I'm going to have to look them all up sometime so I know how to take care of them. We have these little tiny purple flowers that are i the shape of like tiny cones that are just puzzling me to as what they could be. I'm excited to see what else blooms. Hanna: I hope you guys find a place soon too! And I feel you on the killing of plants. I think I try to hard and they end up dying lol. But tulips are so pretty aren't they? They are one of my favorite plants. I hope you come up with some goals, but not having goals is good too because then you can relax and just take things as they come. Amanda: Good to see you around again Amanda! A marathon! That sounds tough! I wish you the best of luck and I think that it is great that your are running for a cause and taking charge of your health. Just make sure not to push yourself too hard. I look forward to hearing about your progress. That is a really great goal.

Amanda wow a marathon! thats such a great goal!!! I am hoping through the summer I will exercise more and a marathon would be a fantastic goal at the end.I am sure you will do a great job and sure everyone is super proud of you! Yes moving and starting plants, or even working from the old plants that were there are difficult. For reasons you obviously found so hard to really know what they planted or how to properly care for it! hahha All the foxgloves I started grew but then randomly died after a few weeks

AS soon as it clears up here from the rain I'm thinking of taking pictures of the plants for you guys.
Also I need your help. I just got a call from my RCIA teacher and she has found both my mother and I sponsors. (They will be our guides and the person we call if we have any questions. They will be like our new best friends and mentors.) Well I was thinking maybe getting each of them a jelly jar candle, but as I've never met them I have no idea what scents they would like so I was wondering what do you think are scents that everyone could enjoy?

Cayla: Maybe Granny's Pie Crust, Bella Swan, or Sophie Bell? They're all different from what you can buy somewhere else but ones that most people would probably like?

You are so right this year has gone by fast! Cayla: Moving can be a pain! I know you will feel so good when you get all of your things in order. Congrats on taking a big step in your church! You know I'm a huge fan of your reviews and can't wait to read them Sugared Shortbread might be a good scent for your sponsors. I also like Amanda's suggestion of Sophie Bell. Jenn: I'm glad you're in a healthier more supportive relationship. You should be very proud of yourself that you pressed on. I wish you the best of luck in graduating college, that is a major accomplishment! I also hope you find the perfect new place Chelscbvforever: Whoo hooo 21!!! I think golden birthdays are pretty special Not everyone needs to party or to drink on their 21st. I was pregnant on my 21st birthday. I was with my family and we all took turns whacking a pinata, good times. My oldest daughter will be 21 in less than 5 1/2 years (breathe Lisa breathe). I wish I had a green thumb. I tried a few times in one year to grow Nasturtiums with out luck (maybe my dog trampled them?). I'd love to try again. Morning Glories are gorgeous! Some neighbor behind me had Morning Glories that just about took over the neighborhood. Someone cut them down sadly and they no longer peak over my fence The best luck I have had with flowers were with tulips in containers. Despite the fungus flies they were absolutely gorgeous. Hanna: Good luck with your move too I wish I had a greener thumb *sigh*. I own a handful of gardening books but I have a feeling to be a successful gardener it will require more dirt under the fingernails and less paper cuts. I would love to have a fairy garden one day, my inner child has been begging for one Amanda: Way to go! A marathon is pretty crazy but what fun at Disney! I can definitely see how signing up for a marathon would be a good motivator. Congrats to you in your weight loss success this far. I'm looking forward to your updates. May is pretty full for me and I just want to get through it while maintaining my sanity. The first week of May (5th-9th) is teacher appreciation week and every day that week you do something special for the teacher. Monday the students bring teacher chocolate or their favorite sweet, Tuesday a note, Wednesday a flower and Thursday & Friday something from the teachers favorites list. My daughter has the same teacher as last year. She went from teaching 3rd to 4th and most of her 3rd graders looped up with her. Last year we gave her teacher a CBV candle because 1)my daughter said she used pug ins in the class so we thought she'd enjoy something scented and 2)I love to spread CBV love everywhere I can when able. The teacher told my daughter that she didn't burn candles however this year spankee Candles was on her favorites list :/ . Well I tried. Saturday May 10th is my sisters baby shower. My mom and I are hosting it even though it will be at sisters house. The baby shower has been a major focus for me for the last few weeks and the gifts, decorations ect are taking over my house (I feel like the walls are closing in on me). I have a doctors appointment on the 12th (not looking forward to it) and a expensive dentist appointment on the 20th (hoping all goes well nothing new $$$ is found). I'm probably just a big baby.

That sounds like a lot of stuff to do! Good luck with the baby shower and your doctor appointments! It is a shame that the teacher didn't seem to enjoy the cbv candle. She just doesn't know what she's missing, but who knows she may pull that candle out one day and the be converted lol. We never had any teacher appreciation weeks before. So that is interesting because we don't have anything like that here.
It seems like a lot to do but they will go by quickly so don't worry too much.

Disalan- thank you I am sure me and my family will have a great time and true friends wont care if its a drinking party( my friends actually did care and wont be coming ) lol oh well. And bugs on the plants such a downer which happens a lot especially if you buy plants from the grocery store they are infested most the time and i reallyy hate using pesticides. Really looking forward to hearing how peoples plants are turning out this year! When they start flowering i would be interested in seeing photos from everyone!!! Teacher appreciation week sounds like a blast, Also baby shower yay! Wishing her good luck for happy healthy baby

I have a home!!!! I just turned in my holding deposit for the apartment! It's not the original city I wanted but at least I'll have a roof over my head! The place is like an hour north of where I currently live but it's still near a couple of big cities so hopefully I'll get a job! (: It's also not pretty as the first place I found but they were being very picky about everything. I've been looking for a place to live since February and I'm glad I'm finally set on moving One thing crossed off my list (: I hope all is going well with everyone and their goals!
