It has been so quiet on the boards lately. So I thought I'd make a thread to see what was going on in your lives lately? Any good things happen? Work going good? Got any new CBV plotting lists? Are you guys stocking up for the fall and winter? Have you thought of maybe buying cbv as christmas gifts? If you order them soon they should be cured enough to give them away in full glory at x-mas. I'm giving some mini jelly jar candles to some people in my church.

I plan on making an order soon, already have my cart full and everything! I'm not sure when I'll get to actually get to make the order but I know it's going to be in the next month or two. I also plan on getting some mini candles for my sisters for x-mas, they're the perfect gift size!
I'm also hoping a Round Robin will pop up sometime in the future, as I'd love to swap out some SS's that I have hanging out that I don't see myself using and maybe find some new favorites at the same time!

I have a cart ready to go for the next time there is a decent sale. I think it is smart to have at least 3 items in your cart you know you are gonna get because the sales sometimes randomly pass up and that way you eliminate the mad dash to think of what you are gonna order. My cart is filled with Christmas stuff. I don't see myself ordering again for awhile though so I have it ready for that season.
I think Jenn said in September if no one started one that she would. She started the last one and it went great. There was another one set to go but it never got off the ground. I'm not sure why so I think the group was just wondering which one would go first but I think it is safe to say that none are going on right now so anyone can feel free to start one.

Also sent candles to the soldiers me and my fiance send them boxes every week full of things and they all seem pretty impressed with them. So actually looking for scents for them help is apperciated.

That is such a sweet thing to do. Do you know the soldiers you send them too or do you just send them out and they distribute them? I think scents depend on who get them, but if it is randome you really can't go wrong with fresh clean scents or vanilla type scents. Most people tend to like those.

Well if you can figure out what scents he kinda likes we can all add in our suggestions. I think for Christmas though a lot of people would like Rocky Mountain Christmas, Christmas Eve, and Cold December Night, and Twisted Peppermint. But that is just me lol.

Cold December Night and Twisted Peppermint might actually cure in time!
I am mostly keeping a close eye on my cat and offering her every goodie known to felines. She has her fourth Chemo appointment on Monday.
My CBV Cart is ready for a Sale. Thought I'd get a large Chocolate Fudge Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Candle and try a Moma's Peach Cobbler Comfort Candle, expecting September made bakery scents to cure by February or March. Then I'm thinking about a Jar Full of Bundt Cakes in Pumpkin Cupcake, a Jar Full of Claws in Sugary Cinnamon Bread Pudding and a Jar Full of Cookies in I'll Have What She's Having. Also a few Bath and Body goodies are under consideration.

Is her chemo almost done Abbie? All those bakery goodies are making my mouth water. I'm plotting getting some Jelly Jar candles for the people in my church group for Christmas. I have some for our teachers, but it made me think I wanted to do something nice for the people in my class as well. Now that leads to the difficult task in guessing what scents these people will like lol. I'm afraid of buying the wrong scent and having them be turned off to cbv! :S Guess I will just have to do some stealthy recon. One of my old high school friends' daughter is turning 6 and having a birthday party today so I'm going to that. We used to be close in school but life got a hold of both of us and we are just not getting in touch again, but we seemed to have picked up right where we left off so I'm happy things aren't awkward. What did you guys do this weekend?
