Hi there
Does anyone else find that their CBV tart burner will burn through scent shots really fast (within an hour) and leaves white scentless wax burning (scent of plain wax fills the room) . Is there something wrong with the burner i got or do i have it on too high perhaps (if so how do you know if the dial is on high-low?)? Could anyone shed some light on this? I also noticed that the black paint on the hot plate part of the burner has started to peel off... if that helps?
Thanks!

It might be getting to warm, but I don't think there is a switch to turn it down. You could have got a defective one it happens ive had it happen to me before, never cbv warmers though. From amazon got a 25 watt warmer and the plate wasnt level and only burned half a scent shot. Then tried a different seller and that hot plat most have got to hot because it split the wood table it was on the whole top cracked and plate cracked and had wax everywhere. I suggest just trying to get a new warmer see how it goes?

That is incredibly strange for a cbv warmer. I have 2 warmers and they've never done that. Now sometimes some scents don't last that long especially if you have a more open spaced room or home the scent doesn't seem to last as long. But the wax has never turned white before. Is it a new warmer or an old one? If it is an old one it may be getting too hot and burning itself out and may be time to retire it. If it is a new one I'd contact Victoria about it. She is always super great with customer service!

Ive also noticed that the black paint on the hot plate has started to peel/burn off revealing the steel plater underneath not sure what's going on.

Yeah I'd definitely talk to Vic about it especially with the paint already peeling off. It just doesn't sound that safe.
