Candles By Victoria Chocolate Fudge Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Surprise Jar Candle Review
I was so excited when I recieved my candle and tarts from Candles By Victoria. I didn’t know what Victoria was sending me, and I was really happy when I opened the box and saw a Chocolate Fudge Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Surprise candle, $13.50.
I love the layered look of the candle in the jar - and the cinnamon bun scented wax bits on the top of the candle (you can see them in the picture) definitely seem indulgent.
The smell of the candle is amazing - I can definitely smell the cinnamon from the cinnamon bun chunks combined with the sugar cookie…yummy.
The only problem is that it makes me hungry.
Here’s the description for this candle:
“This candle is 16 full ounces of the most amazing bakery scents we carry. The bottom layer is our delectable fudge brownie, followed by a layer of our amazing cinnamon bun scent, and finally to top off this mouth watering dessert in a jar, we have added a layer of our buttery sugar cookie fragrance then capped the whole thing off with chunks of wax scented in cinnamon bun!! Each one of these candles are handmade to order, so no one candle is exactly the same. From our family to yours, ENJOY!!”
The candle was very fragrant, even before it was lit, and after burning it for about an hour the scent begin to waft from the kitchen upstairs. If filled the downstairs and the upper open level of the house without being overwhelming - just the way I like it.
I didn’t have any trouble with soot or anything else while I was burning the candle, but I did make sure to keep my wick trimmed. Speaking of wicks - Candles By Victoria uses Zinc core wicks - so you don’t have to worry about lead wicks.
Candles By Victoria Tart Review
In addition to the Chocolate Fudge Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Surprise Jar Candle, Victoria also sent me 2 tarts - one Mango Smoothie, and one Fizzy Pop.
I tried the Fizzy Pop tart first. The tart melted evenly in my electric tart warmer, and had a great throw - I could also smell it upstairs and downstairs.
This is also the only tart that I’ve ever used that I could just pop out of the tart warmer after I was finished with the tart. With other tarts I’ve had to pop the top in the freezer for a few hours, and sometimes I’ve had to pry tarts out of the tart burner with a knife, but with Candles By Victoria’s tart I just let the tart cool, and I was able to slide the tart right out of the burner.
I also had a lot of fun testing the fizzy pop tart - my husband was always asking me if I wanted him to turn the tart burner on - and he’s never done that before.
The fizzy pop tart does smell like lemon lime soda - but my husband also thought it smelled like an everlasting gobstopper.
Either way it smelled good, and we both liked it.
The mango smoothie tart smelled good, but it was a little too strong for me.
I went to burn it and the smell was strong enough for me after I took it out of the container it was in that I decided not to burn it.
I’m sure you’ll see it popping up around Sarah’s Surprises sometime within the next few months though.
Candles By Victoria Etailer Review
Candles by Victoria has over 500 fragrances, so I’m sure that you’ll find a few fragrances to love while you’re there.
The candle I reviewed came in a 16 oz jar, with a Candles By Victorial label on the side and bottom. In addition to the website address and burn instructions these candles also include a phone number - which could come in handy when it’s time to reorder.
The tarts came in plastic containers with a label with the company name, scent, phone number and web address on them.
The candles and tarts arrived in a box with lots of peanuts for cushioning, and I don’t think their was a chance of anything breaking during shipment.
Overall I was very impressed with the quality and the scent throw of the candle and tarts from Candles By Victoria that I tested. I wouldn’t hesitate to try more of their candles or tarts, or to recommend them to anyone who was looking for a strongly scented candle.
YAHH VICTORIA! I AGREE!
