(or be melodramatic ) But! Whilst melting my Raspberry Guava SS I picked up an unwanted odor.........the paint on the dish of my warmer was bubbling and peeling! What the heck! What's a girl whose addicted to CBV to do? FYI: I did NOT purchase this tart warmer from Victoria. I do have another one someplace that I need to dig up. <sigh>

P.S. In looking at the "users online" I see that I'm the only on the board at the moment. Which means I'm talking to myself. lol

I'm up still! That's no fun! Ugh what a mess and how annoying that must be. And well if you can't find that other one it seems like it'd be a good excuse to get a new one to me...

Hey Shannon, Happy Easter.......hope the production at church was nice. By any chance, is your warmer the painted tin (electric) type? If so, I had the very same thing happen 2 times. I returned both and have a 3rd that I am afraid to use. I had a friend who also had the same thing happen. However, once the paint peels off, if you can stand the way it looks, it works the same. The guy in the store told me he had never seen that happen. Yea, because nobody wanted to bring it back. I cannot be the only person this happened to. I love the look of those but am so afraid to use it. It seems the darker oils did it to mine..........IDK. OK, let me know.

That's weird, I've never heard of paint peeling off of a warmer! Can't say I've had that happen at all, but I only have one from CBV! Hope you find another one real soon so you can continue to use those SS!

Yes, Maureen, it's the painted type and I think it may have gotten a small chip in it which is probably what caused it. I think were taking a drive over to a local country store today so I'm going to take your advice, Allison, and use it as an excuse to shop!
