When I received my July 1 sale order, there was a small mix up (the rest of my order was perfect). I had ordered the Christmas scent shot sampler pack, but I received summery scents instead. I think Victoria wrote on Facebook that they received 1 months worth of orders in 1 day, so obviously they were more than a little overworked - no biggie, mistakes happen!
I emailed her to see if I could make an exchange. I've read before on the message board how great her customer service is, so I didn't expect any problems. I'm a huge online shopper & sometimes I return things and have to deal with paying return shipping, restocking fees, fee this, fee that.. so her response was totally not what I was expecting! She replied back that I could keep the summery scents (!!!) & she'd mail out the Christmas scents the next day since the mix up was on their end. I was so shocked, I'm not even sure the email I sent back thanking her was even coherent. Even my boyfriend, who pretty much tunes me out as soon as he hears the word "candle," was impressed. I realize 8 scent shots aren't going to put her out of business, but she did not have to do that at all!
I just received the package yesterday & realized I never wrote about it here. Since my email back to her was probably something along the lines of "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" - I figured publicly letting everyone know how fabulous CBV's customer service is would make up for it a little bit! ;D
Oh AND there was another free scent shot in the 2nd package even though I had already received one in my original package.

She and her family are an amazing family. I could not expect the least! They are so giving and kind. I barely want to ever purchase from a retailer. They give you so much hassle and disrespect. Glad you had a good day

her customer service is what every other business should strive for. seriously. i've never known any other company that cares so much about their customers like cbv! victoria and the family are just awesome.

I've never, ever experienced customer service like Candle's By Victoria. I work in retail - in the customer service department ironically - and we can't do half the things Victoria can because of protocol and the 'corporate policies'. I seriously am baffled on how caring Victoria is to her customers. She makes us feel like part of the family <3

No one beats CBV's customer service! I don't know of any other companies who could compare. And not only is the quality of the products amazing, but you can tell everyone at CBV puts love into what they do. As Lauren said, it's like we're all part of one big family instead of just customers and order numbers. CBV for life!

O yes that is CBV all the way.They are absolutely wonderful ad their customer service is amazing I'm sure we all agree on that.I wish every company treated their customers like that but i guess that is why we are just so hooked to CBV and for the amazing scented wax of course.i'm happy that you are so satisfied and glad that you are loving your order

Wow, that's really amazing. I haven't had any problems with my orders but posts/ comments like these make me 100% confident in my purchases from her and a loyal customer. That and the fact that her candles are beyond excellent! hah Such a wonderful business she's running!

Thats awesome I had a couple small mix ups like that during busy times too and she told me to keep them also, I was shocked. NOBODY beats the loving, caring attitude everyone at CBV has for their customers!

I have to agree with all the raves here. The rare occasion something hasn't been accurate, it's fixed right away, plus there's always that extra scent shot. It's such a nice touch and definitely how things should be done.
This is in stark contrast to a seed company I'm dealing with that sent me mispackaged seeds. The response was "are you sure you didn't plant any slicers" (I grow paste tomatoes and some tiny ones to dry, I'm *real* sure these gigantic normal tomatoes are *not* what I ordered). Most companies = doubt the consumer CBV= no hassle fixes with grace and a smile.

I agree 110%. Her customer service is the best, and she is also an amazing mentor and friend. Her whole family is phenomenal and I'm lucky to have CBV in my life.

I never worry about ordering from CBV. My husband made a comment about me ordering candles when it's so hot. I said, "Victoria has never had a problem with shipping in the heat and if she did she'd fix it!" No doubts at all. Love CBV!
