Hello everyone! If you guys know me, you know I'm all about bakery scents. Yes, I completely love them, but sometimes you need a break. So, I've come to the conclusion that I need to order some fresh scents.
I'm looking for a clean scent that isn't too strong, perfumey, or literal (laundry detergent - type scents)
Thanks everyone!

Soft Blanket had a clean scent to it for me. It reminded me of blowing bubbles. I think Butt Naked is clean and fresh but my husband found it too citrusy cleaner like. I still love it. Satsuma is a bright citrus fresh scent, I adore it. Mango Tango is a great fruity clean scent. Shamrock Kiss is also clean and fruity. Bath Time With Pooh may be a good start because it is duping a soap but has a lot of sweetness. I love Bergamont and Herbal Mint, mint scents are always fresh and clean to me.
For me clean/fresh scents can be green, citrus, ocean/ozone, mint (very refreshing) and straight up clean like soap/laundry. Do you have a prefrence for any of those categories?

Dislan, how long did Satsuma take to cure for you? My candle arrived June 8 and is only a barely there, too mild citrus scent so far.

Dislan, how long did Satsuma take to cure for you? My candle arrived June 8 and is only a barely there, too mild citrus scent so far. I think It was probably 2-3 weeks old when I melted it. I had this scent in a scent shot which to my understanding is stronger than a candle. It is not quite orange, lemon, or tangerine it is a citrus scent for sure though. I would think it should be ready by now but I also believe I've heard scent shots cure faster. If you do burn it just make sure you burn all the way to the edges. It will still cure even after it has been lit. I have a feeling it is ready or maybe it wasn't the type of citrus you were hoping for. My husband doesn't seem to like any citrus ........ well unless it is a food type scent like Lemon Pound Cake or Fruit Loops.if you burn it let me know what you think. I have been seeing people mixing it with strawberry too.

I second Lisa in Soft Blanket, Satsuma, Shamrock Kiss, and Mango Tango. Mango Tango is light and fruity and a touch clean so it isn't like smelling straight up laundry detergeant. It is my personal favorite clean fragrance. Spa La La is nice too because it isn't exactly clean, but it is fruity and is a spa kind of fragrance. And it isn't exactly a clean fragrance but Whistlin Dixie is a very nice airy semi-sweet summer's day kind of fragrance. You can smell a bit of soft cotton, vanilla, and fresh air. Breaking Dawn was a nice clean scent to me as well. I know the description is really daunting with so many ingrediants listed but really what I smelt was a toned down citrus kind of cleaner/clean air fragrance.

I think I won't be ordering Satsuma again. Burned the candle and got only a very faint citrus scent in several tries. I did burn long enough to form a complete wax pool each time. I burned it before this allergy thing took over my nose!

I was certain that my husband would like all citrus scents but his nose is more particular than mine. I'm sorry you don't care for it. I wonder if it is stronger in a harder wax like a scent shot or cubes?

Satsuma I have heard is stronger in tart form than in candle. Typically tarts as usually much more stronger than their candle counterparts because the tarts are meant to be blasts of fragrance in only a short amount of time whereas a candle doesn't put out as much oil because it is meant to be melted down over and over again. So the shots because they are samples are chock full of more fragrance oil than the candles are. So typically the shot form is the strongest, however there are some that shine better in candle form such as Banana Pancake which is a really light thrower in the warmer do to the slight burning smell that the warmers give off sometimes.

I also find Enchanted Apple to be a clean scent. It reminds me of apple shampoo.

It's technically not a "clean" scent but I love Fizzy Pop for a break from bakery. It's citrus fruity and you can really smell the bubbles.
