My first two orders from CBV arrived today! It has made my terrible day at work so much better. I will take photos tonight when I unbox them

In my second order I decided to try the mini jelly jars. I'm going to do a cold scent review on all of them.
The first two scents are for my Cousin Emily. She is having her third baby in November and I thought she deserved a little gift to enjoy for herself. Her two favorite scents are Lavender & Vanilla.
Lavender Vanilla - I thought this one would be a no brainer. On cold throw I'm only getting a soft lavender. It is nice, but I hope more of the vanilla comes out after it cures. The color is absolutely gorgeous.
Bathtime with Pooh - I have read and watched so many reviews of people raving about this scent. I thought she would like it and the name is quite fitting as well. A gorgeous nice soft fragrance at first. I don't pick out any individual notes yet.
My other Cousin's birthday is in a couple weeks, so I thought I would also get her a couple mini candles. Her favorite scent is non bakery vanilla
Vanilla Bean Noel - I had a hard time picking out this scent. It was a toss up between this one and vanilla after dark. I'm not getting anything right now. I'm hoping this will cure by the time I give it to her.
Go-Go Juice - Since her sister only gave me the one type of scent, I decided to go a bit wild with the other candle. I figured that most people like fruity scents and this one seemed quite fun. The color is stunning. Another one I'm not getting much of a scent from. Maybe a slight fruity note.
I wanted to try a couple for myself.
Monkey Juice - All I get is a blend of fruits. Nothing stands out. It is a lovely scent, but I hope I will be able to smell all of them when it fully cures
Witches Brew - "The aroma of spiced apple cider complimented by juicy notes of orange, pineapple, peach and cranberry" I love all these notes. Unfortunately at this point all I'm getting is a faint apple scent.

First on the scent shots list is the autumn sampler that I ordered. I think it is really humorous that two of the scents that they selected I just ordered in the mini jelly jars. Thankfully, I really do enjoy the scents.
Apple Cinnamon Butter - This is so yummy smelling. Another fantastic fall scent
Autumn Apple - A nice fall apple scent. This totally reminds me of a craft store autumn scent.
Cinnamon Donuts - All I'm getting is cinnamon. Another one that will need a bit of curing
Gooey Pumpkin Butter Cake - I'm just getting a butter caramel pumpkin note. I'm not getting a cake note at all.
Pomegranate & Cider - Very strong Cider is the first note. I think I will love this scent in November.
Pumpkin Apple Cinnamon Bread - All I get now is a spicy pumpkin note. I'm hoping get a better bread scent once it cures
Pumpkin Picking - I'm not a fan of this scent. It smells like plastic pumpkins at this time. I don't think I will like it even after it cures
Warm Apple Fritters - At this time all I'm getting is a cinnamon apple note. This needs sometime to cure

Champagne Pomegranate - This reminds me of Cherry 7-Up. I love it. I can't wait to try it on the warmer.
Fizzy Pop - LOVE IT. It is so different.
Birds of Paradise - I'm not getting much of this sent. A bit of creaminess, but that is all
Simply Pear - Again not much of a scent.
Faerie Ring - A light fruity scent.
Bite Me - Chery Cherry Cherry. I quite like it.
Bella Swan - A nice fruity floral. I would love this as soap or lotion

I like how you ordered many scents that were different...you now have a pretty well rounded collection for any craving! I really want to try pomegranate cider and gooey pumpkin butter cake! I am the same way where I enjoy dark berry scents during november, and sometimes even christmas. Sometimes during the colder months I feel like I go too bakery overload and need something a little bit different, so all those deep berry scents are perfect! I may need to try a fall sampler pack....

Great orders! I haven't melted Apple Cinnamon Butter yet but my goodness it smells so delicious and comforting cold, I can see this becoming a favorite of mine. My Simply Pear is strong and I can tell it is the same pear that is in Waterlily & Pear (a very lovely scent). Cinnamon Donuts is so yummy! The pumpkin scents that I ordered were really strong on the spice/cinnamon too when I got them but they have really toned down now. I just think the spicy scents need a bit of cure time. Champagne Pomegranate is a fantastic juicy scent and had a really great throw for me. You will have to let me know how you end up liking Monkey Juice, it has been on my list for a while.

A lot of the ones you ordered take some cure time. Witch's Brew for one will cure in about a month so just in time for Halloween. You will get less of an apple scent and more of a blended fruity kind of craft store smell. Cinnamon Donuts is notorious for needing lots of cure time. Eventually the Red Hot cinnamon should tone down to a sweeter version and the bakery notes underneath should peep out soon. Birds Of Paradise is pretty much just a creamy type of scent so it might not take very long for it to cure.
Sounds like you have a well rounded order. I really like the jelly jars so far. I like them a lot better than the 8oz jars for some reason.

I actually have a quite a bit left to review, but I ran out of time last night. I tried to get a couple from each category that I enjoy. I think I will stick to the 4 oz jars because I have a very small apartment and any candle over the size of 8 oz tends to overwhelm me. I might even have to only use an 1/8 of a scent shot to fill my entire room.

I don't think I have ever actually owned a bakery type candle, so this is new territory for me.

Some newer reviews.
Fizzy Pop - AMAZING. This is a scent that everyone needs to try once. I think it is an extremely fresh clean scent. I do think it made my nostrils burn a bit.
Birds of Paradise - A beautiful creamy strawberry scent. This was really light for me. I can usually fill my entire area with an 1/8 of a scent shot. I will have to try this one again.
Raspberry Violet - I ordered this one because of all the rave reviews on youtube. I had initial doubts because I'm not the biggest fan of flower scents. This was way too strong and I only used 1/8 of a scent shot. I had to turn it off after an hour.
Fairy Ring - Another SS ordered due to the rave reviews. I was nervous to try this one because of how much I did not like Raspberry Violet. I had high hopes that the apples and oaks scent would mellow it out. I do think it did mellow it out, but the strongest note was still the Raspberry Violet. I was able to keep it on all evening without it bothering me. It is a lovely sce

I tried Cinnamon Donuts last night and I was a bit disappointed. I didn't get much donuts just cinnamon. It has been curing for about a month. I do also have in a mini jelly jar. I wonder if the donuts will come out more if I burn it instead of melting.

Mine took forever to cure! I would put it away for a good amount of time before you try it again.

My Cinnamon Donuts must have been one the scent shots that get poured up extra when someone orders a scent because it was pretty much ready to go when I got it. I think cinnamon scents always tend be strong on the cinnamon for awhile. I love Cinnamon Donuts btw, so be sure to revisit again in a little while.

I just think the delicious fragrances need a bit of treat time. Sparkling wine Pomegranate extract is a amazing luscious fragrance and had a really excellent toss for me.
