I was baking an apple pie today and as I was cooking the apple/cinnamon/sugar/buttery mixture on the stove and the most amazing smell filled the kitchen and I thought, on my next order I NEED a candle that smells like that sticky sweet and cinnamony (bakery not red hot) apple pie! What do you think is the BEST apple pie scent? Balked apple strudel? Apple cobbler? I don't want something that will smell like the generic apple pie smells like febreeze or other air freshened but a true apple pie. Thanks

I have also had this same dillema and have found that for me personally Baked Apple Strudel has been the closest to a true baked apple pie fragrance. However Baked Apple Strudel did not have any buttery or crusty notes it just smelt like pure warm baked apple filling with sweet cinnamon. So I might have to get my Dr. Frankenstein on and try mixing maybe Baked Apple Strudel with Granny's Pie Crust in my warmer.
Apple Cobbler has this really crisp and fresh Macintosh apple frangrance with a fried bakery note. Apple Pie Ala Mode and Spiced Apple Pie was not for me personally because I found the apple cinnamon mixture in those two too heavy and they kind of reminded me of cough syrup though that could just be my crazy nose because others on the CBV Browser have liked them just fine and said nothing of the cough syrup notes I get.
It is a hit and miss I believe with the apple scents and what person wants what. Warm Apple Fritters is a really good one in my book because it smells like Macintosh apples with the wonderful Cinnamon Donuts so it is kind of appley and cinnamony and bakery all at once though it does not smell anything like an apple pie. Apple Cinnamon Butter is great if you are looking for a baked apple with a sprinkle of sweet cinnamon and then a dash of warm butter.

I haven't tried a ton of apple bakery scents, but Apple Cobbler is my favorite!

Ohhoh, Granny's Pie Crust being added to the list. Maybe three Granny's Pie Crust Scent Shots!
In August I received a Mini Bread Pan candle in Baked Apple Strudel. I ordered Spiced Apple Pie as a Squatty Mason jar candle during the September sale so I'd have two wicks and a lid. Also took a chance on Pecan Pie. I still need Granny's Pie Crust to complete this Pie Suite.

I found that Baked Apple Strudel smelled more like true apple pie than the scents that had Apple Pie in their names :-) I did get a crust note, but I was using a scent shot, not a candle.
