Hi!! so this is my first post here and i'm planning on ordering from cbv for my first time very soon! i was just wondering what the best scents you would recommend. I like mild earthy scents, cleans scents, some flowery scents, perfume and cologne scents and a lot more. Im not the biggest fan of fruity scents... So if you guys could tell me your favorites and what you think they smell like, that would be very helpful!! thanks!!!

I like mostly sweet scents. But if I had to recommend a floral it would be Cleopatra's Closet. I'm not a big fan of florals. However, this one got a lot of good reviews and once warm I really liked it. A cologne/perfume scent that seems to be a fav around here, is Barefoot in Blue Jeans.

Some of my favorites that aren't too sweet include sugared corn pudding ( I promise it isnt too "sugared"), pumpkin pear strudel, Cinnabon, cinnamon donuts, and cookies for Santa.

My nose loves scents from all categories. Here are some I would suggest trying based on what type of scents you have said you have liked. Flowe Bomb - A perfume dupe. I have not tried the original but I've heard it is right on. Not overly perfumey at all. Vanilla After Dark is my favorite vanilla so far. There are warm woody notes that give it depth and make it a more sophisticated vanilla. Peace - A hush dupe and also dead on. To me it is a bright earthy scent. Very unisex. Under The Harvest Moon - So far it is my favorite scent for fall. It embodies all things autumn from the earthy leaves to the spice in the air. Daffodil, Iris & Fern, Plumeria Passion, Butterfly Kisses, and Tokyo Spring are my favorite florals so far. Though I am sure I am forgetting a few. Some of my favorite clean scents are Geisha, Butt Naked, Bamboo & Grated Ginger, Badedas (last two are luxury spa scents), Mango Tango, Shamrock Kiss, and Clothesline Fresh. Gosh I love so many!

Welcome to the boards! It is always exciting planning that first order. For earthy scents I second Under The Harvest Moon since it smells like what fall smells like to me. It is dried leaves with the tiniest pinch of cinnamon and a crisp fresh air note. Leaves Type is also a great semi-earthy one for fall. It is dried leaves with apple peels. For florals Cleopatra's Closet, Bella Swan, and definitely Sophie Belle are my favorite and I'm not even a big floral fan. DKNY Delicious is a very pretty floral perfume.
A personal favorite and in the top 10 for me is Whistlin Dixie. It has a fresh air scent with cotton blossom and it is kind of a "summertime" scent but I love it year round.
