I know we have talked a little bit about this before in other threads, but I wanted to make a collective thread to see everybody's ideas. I have been feeling a little nauseous lately and can't seem to get it to go away even though in general I feel fine. So I typically like melting minty scents when I don't feel well to help me feel better. Sweet Snow is always my go to, but I'm looking to switch things up a bit. What kind of scents do you guys melt when you are feeling under the weather? Do you have different scents for different illnesses? Like such and such for headaches or such and such scent for colds?
So far what I like to melt is:
Sweet Snow (nice and minty sweet) A cure all in my opinion peppermint is good for easing nausea and also for clearing a stuffy nose. Cold December Night (Again minty but oddly refreshing) This has a nice cooling smell that I like when I just feel tired. Chai Tea (I find the tea and light spices relaxing) Good if you are feeling achy and just want something to warm you up and calm you. Orange Vanilla Coffee (I know that is an odd one, but I find the scent subtle and it doesn't bother my senses but still gives me a nice rich and semi-fruity fragrance to sniff)

I think mints are great for headaches! Like you said they are also good for nausea, congestion, and fatigue. Mints I love are Sweet Snow, Bergamot and Herbal Mint, and Eucalyptus Spearmint. Christmas in Who-Ville smells so awesome cold that I can only bet it will be great cold.

I'm on the fence with Christmas In Who-Ville because I'm not a huge fan of Pink Sugar on it's own, but I do so love Sweet Snow. So I don't know whether I should order it or not. Decisions...decisions... Would you say that the Pink Sugar sweetens it up a bit?

I loved Christmas in Who-Ville so much I gave it away as a gift. I didn't have time to place and get a CBV order in time to give a gift to my sons Speech Therapist whom we wont be seeing again after next week. I gave her some of my favorites (I had back ups) and also two ofy new scent shots in Christmas in Who-Ville and Pink Chiffon. I just reordered two of each of the last two scents because cold they were THAT good. To me Christmas in Who-Vlle smelled like a candy cane, sweet peppermint candy. The peppermint is definitely sweeter with less of the peppmerint "bite" because of the Pink Sugar. It is not in b&b (yet, fingers crossed) but I can see it being a really nice mint to wear.

QTJ, do you suffer heartburn? Nausea was a component of the heartburn I used to suffer. I take Nexium now but the big thing I learned from a brochure was to never lie down for three hours after eating. What a difference! Good brochure!

No, not particularly I am susceptible to ovarian cysts though which tend to make me nauseous at the strangest of times though. I have heard that drinking a glass of milk after eating is good for heartburn though because it coats your stomach.

I'm sorry about the cysts! When I was about 22 one was removed from me at a fortuitous moment. My Appendix was just about to misbehave. It was already "hot" I think they said, so it came out too. Great timing.
The Gastroenterologist mentioned nothing about milk, but we were discussing miserable heartburn events that would last six hours until I was regurgitory. Now I never lie down soon after eating, take my Nexium daily and have Zantac available if I should need it. I have not suffered one of those dreadful events since! Yea!
I love these threads on which scents to use to soothe stuffy noses, etc.

If only I had all of these scents right now! While I was vacationing in denver this weekend I got extremely sick with a cold. It's really weird....I know I'm getting a cold because I get a stye ( don't know if that's the correct spelling) right in the inner corner of my eye. The next day, what do you know, I have a terrible cold.
