Ok, we've all been talking about the Christmas scents and how wonderful they are. I'm curious what everyone is planning on burning now that the holidays are coming to an end. How soon are you guys going to go more floral? What do you typically burn in January and February? I just ordered a bunch of scent shots in a variety of floral and bakery scents but I'm curious what you guys suggest.
Oh, and I hope you all had a good holiday!!

Hmmmm, I will have to see what I have. It definately wont be floral. I just dont like floral. Now I do have a birds of paradise and hubby liked the smell of that. Mostly I burn spiced candles or baked scent. Right now I have cinnamon stick in the warmer and it is awesome!!

I also lean more towards the bakery and the fruity scents. My husband on the other hand, is a big fan of the rosemary scent (he is also the cook in the house) and the black licorice.
If you are wanting floral, I have burned the Rose scent. That one is really strong, like breathing in a bouquet of roses. I've also burned the Lilac scent (husband's request) which was nice but not as strong as the Rose. Hawaiian Rain is a good combination of floral/clean scent.
I still have about 1/2 of my Christmas Lane candle to burn. I figured if I go through January, that's ok too! The order I placed a couple days ago (using the 15% off code) has about 15 scent shots coming....can't wait! I went out of my 'comfort zone' on a couple of them just to be a little daring....we'll see what happens! ;D

I tend to lean toward the bakery scents in the winter months. I do plan to burn my Holiday Homebrew and Nutmeg for a few more weeks. :-) And I also plan on burning my newest fav - Cinnamon Gingerbread Latte! I absolutely love that one! Thanks again, Victoria.

I love bakery scents all year round! Those are my favorite type of scents. I probably won't burn any floral scents until around March. A great floral I have tried is the Jasmine. Texas is just now getting into winter it seems. Right now I have Winter Snowflake on my burners, hoping that the mintyness of it might help open up my sinuses, lol. I am all stuffed up.

LOL, I think I've gained about 10 pounds reading your replies. Thanks everyone. I'm getting excited about some of the bakery scents I ordered.
It's so cold here I'm thinking about a beach scent. Something that reminds me of sitting on a warm beach with suntan lotion. I can burn it here in the house and pretend I'm in Florida. Any suggestions?

Hi Christy! One of the tropical scents I have tried and loved is Hawaiian Rain. I haven't tried these but Hawaiian Dream & Neptune's Oasis sound good too. Victoria has posted the fragrance descripts on the board if you want to read more about the those.
BTW, what bakery scents did you order?

Another vote for Hawaiian Rain. It's very tropical smelling, but not the 'suntan lotion' smell that I associate w/ coconut though.

LOL, I ordered my scent shots on like the 28th so I can't remember for the life of me what I ordered. I know one of them was cream brulee (I read how HIGHLY recommended it was on the message boards), I also ordered a berry scone, I think, something like that. I think there were a few fruit scents and then I ordered cottage garden. My last order was for some of the clean and outdoor scents and there were only a couple that I really liked. One was the Raspberry Tomato Leaf. Quite a surprise since Victoria threw in an extra one and it was that scent. It's really nice. I'm definitely going to be ordering that one in a larger size.
I should try to hunt up my order so I can remember which ones I'm getting. I'm just so excited to get them. I definitely ordered more bakery and fruit scents this time.
Hugs
Christy
