Blueberry cheesecake was my favorite between blueberry cobbler or cornbread. Banana carmel cupcake is also a favorite. Ordered root beer for my sister and she loved it,it was dead on root beer and pretty strong. The chocolate decadent delight candle isnt actually what I thought it would be but probably for the better cold throw you get creamy almost buttery with a hint of chocolate. Hope this helps!

Thanks ladies I have a Hawaiian Rain candle that is many years old so I am not sure how it compares to a scent shot. I know that I like it more burning than cold and it has a crazy throw! In candle form it is a like a fresh clean scent. Island Spa is a favorite and I have it in cubes. It smells like a tropical fruit drink with cucumber to me while being very fresh at the same time. A great scent for warm weather or if you want to pretend it's warm. I haven't tried the other scents you asked about.

Lisa:
I have yet to try Dogwood Blossoms but have long since admired them. Jason if I remember correctly said on his blog once that they would be good for floral haters to try. Root Beer I struggled with only because of a slight anise note in it, but that is just my sensitive nose that is finicky and doesn't like anise. It really does smell just like root beer and the scent throw is super strong. I say go for it since I don't think your nose is as easily offended as mine is when it comes to anise. Bubble Gum smells like straight up Bazooka Joe bubble gum. I love it and prefer it in shot form because in candle form it isn't as strong. I believe I had Island Kiss as my free scent shot like the second time I ever ordered so take this little review with a grain of salt because my memory could be faulty. If I remember correctly it was strong on the awapuhi. It smelt like strong Hawaiian exotic flowers in a fresh breeze. Witch's Brew is one of those scents that tends to smell different for everyone. I personally smelt like a mixed fruit cider. It is one of my favorite fall scents. Some people say it smells like fall in a craft store and I can see that too. I personally like it a lot. Burmuda Triangle is a really nice tropical scent, but no coconut or pineapple and quite honestly I don't think it smells anything like what is listed in the description lol. It smells kind of like slightly musky tropical fruits. That makes it sound kind of gross but it isn't lol. It does kind of smell like an exotic fruit flavored tropical drink. Berry Me Alive smells like sweet raspberry flavored candy. It is more of an artificial raspberry scent. I like it though but it is candy like. Blueberry Cheesecake is one that I initially didn't care for. At first it smelt too much like cream cheese so I put it away and forgot about it. I dug it out like 6 months later and it was fantastic. It is like sweet candied blueberries made even sweeter and smoother by the "cheesecake" smell. After curing that long I no longer smelt any philly cream cheese smell just rich yummy sweet blueberries.
Also I have longed for more decorative candles but I hold of cuz I know I will never want to melt them. That being said as for the glitter choices check this page out to see pictures of some of the glitter choices. There are quite a few gold/yellow combos. I think I like the Orange And Gold one the best.

Thank you that helps a lot!
I'm siting here almost ready to order, contemplating a decorative candle, black label in Sidecar Annie, Bakers Dozen......then my wild side wants me to make a CAS with out ever trying it out yet......honestly I'm not that risque. I am ordering my mom a lotion in Dark Kiss for sure. She really loves that scent however it is a a scent that my husband prefer only I wear because he loves it LOL. Oh and my daughter wants a body spray in Daffodil.

I have only tried Island Spa. I picked it up in the round robin so I haven't yet gotten a chance to melt it but so far to me it smells like a fresh breezy kind of tropical fruity fragrance. I agree with Lisa on the cucumber being mainly detectable which probably gives it that almost spa like refreshing quality. It is strange but I feel almost as if this should have mangoes in it. The description doesn't list any, but it smells like cucumber, mangoes, a fresh breeze,a tiny hint of grapefruit, and then some light fern in the bottom. I quite like it. It is kind of fruity and clean and airy.

I really need a wick trimmer but that is 14 bucks that can go to a candle or a lot of other scent shots and I can deal with pesky wick trimming with scissors. I don't light candles much but the wood wick has been calling my name. I want to try so many scents but not sure if I want to spend more on lotsa shots or go with a couple candles or maybe finally break down and order some oil for my diffuser. Decisions!!!

A wick trimmer is on my wish list but I'd rather buy $14 of wax or a little more and get a cute warmer since I melt more than burn. When I do burn, I trim my wicks with a big pair of nail clippers that have become used for my candles only. I really love my diffuser. Love having scent I don't have to baby sit.

I'm getting a warmer for my mother's room. I also am getting a handful of scent shots. I have a ton of generic candles still left over for emergencies and I have about 7 or 8 candles from CBV so since I'm mainly a melter I decided to go with all scent shots this time.

I think the wick trimmer is totally worth the money! After I got mine I don't have as much smoking as usual! but of course id rather spend that money on wax too. Lol
I think I'm going to get a reed diffuser when I move since it'll be my own place. Right now I live with two other people so the only place I can put home fragrance stuff is my room ):
